I had a comfortable stay at the Pod, Brooklyn. The best thing about it was the location as its within short walking distance to shops, cafes and resturaunts. There is also a Wholefoods, Sephora and Subway very close. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, I liked that it was very quiet at night which is unusual for NY! I would like to suggest adding a kettle and mini fridge to the rooms, these are basic amenities that most hotels offer. They charge a resort fee on arrival so it would be nice to actually have some basic amenities in the room. Don’t alarmed by the toilet in the shower, it did not bother me at all. Overall good, I would recommend.

It is small, but if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel room it is fine. If you are two people who are not a couple, you are probably not gonna enjoy it. And if you are a couple, it won't be the most romantic stay. It was clean. Staff was polite but not necessarily nice, but also not mean. Just doing their job. Free coffee in the morning. There is a nice rooftop for the warmer months. We slept well. Overall, it was in the cheapest hotels we found and considering that, it was pretty good for the price when comparing to others.

Staff is nice and everyone seems laidback. It’s New York so the space in the room was really small but you could tell it was clean. Location is nice. Overall really good spot.

Nice and quiet
We decided to stay here for a very last minute trip for one night. The area is nice and there is a grocery store right next to the hotel. Although the rooms are quite small, hence the name, it serves its purpose and pretty much has all you need for a 1-2 night stay. Would stay here again if I needed to be in the area and would recommend to anyone else needing to stay around here.
