Decent Queens Hotel that will not break the bank.
We had a two night stay in NYC coming back from Europe and the hotel prices were outrageous. We found this Hotel at a fraction of the cost of other hotels, without NYC tacked on fees. The room was spacious and look like its been renovated. The bathroom was big and clean. The microwave outlet must have been off because it would not turn on. 7-Eleven across the street as well as other places to eat. Two downsides. One. Weed smokers did not obey the rules. You could smell it in the hall and bathboom.Two. Transportation is not close. As in Subway / Train. It was a nice little walk. The other one big plus is its close to LaGuardia airport. Overall a good two nights stay.

The lady at the front desk wasn't very helpful - she was too busy using her phone and when I finally got her attention, she was a bit snarky. I also asked about shampoo, since there was none in the room, it was only after asking the 2nd person that they said they don't provide shampoo, just body wash. So I ended up walking a couple of blocks to find shampoo. Lastly, there was a small cockroach in the bathroom.

Location was right for us as we saw a concert at Citifield and used the subway to get to Manhattan and Times Square. We probably would not have stayed here had it not been for the concert but we were pleasantly surprised.

There was hair in the bed and on the pillows, and not just one strand we kept finding hair everywhere on the bed. no body wash was given and all of the shampoos & conditioners & lotions were very tiny. No vending machines, coffee , snacks, only ice machine that wasn’t very sanitary. It was just no amenities, that was kind of disappointing. It’s right next door to a motel, it just gives a more expensive boom boom room. Staff was friendly though. Wouldn’t recommend or stay again.

It was ok. I won’t say the hotel was outstanding. I kept my expectations low because of all the reviews and also die to the fact that it’s a 2-star hotel. So I wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t usually do reviews but I thought I should put my review for my stay because there are a lot of negatives ones about this hotel on google. I honestly had a really good stay. I stayed for 5 nights and I did not have any issues. Check in and check out was smooth. I would recommend giving the $100 deposit in cash as they give this back to you when you check out. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay where you only pretty much require a bed ( I was travelling back and forth from manhattan often), this place is perfect. You only take the 7 train to grand central terminal. You also have a 7/11 close by which was quite handy on late nights. The area itself is safe, pretty quiet.
