Short stay, but sweet trip!
Our trip was short, but this stay made it amazing!!! The king suite is very spacious for NY. Pull out sofa was comfortable (according to my nephew). The design updates are chic, and the location is central to almost everything. We’ll definitely be back! Bonus: Subway right on the corner and a premium pastry shop about two blocks away. Lovely.

The room key did not work when I returned late at night and a Master key was required to open the door. The phone in the room didn't work when I tried to call front desk, I had to use my mobile. The safe in the room was in operable and the cosmetic mirror didnt work. We expected these basic items to be functioning given the rate charged at this hotel. Staff was good though, but still. We mentioned all these shortcomings when we checked out but no reduction in the hotel rate was considered.

Unwelcoming Experience Overshadowed My Stay
I recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and from the very start, my experience was uncomfortable. When I arrived, the front desk staff, Vanessa, asked, "Which guest are you here to visit?"—despite the fact that I was a guest with a reservation. It was a demeaning and demoralizing question, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Throughout my stay, I couldn't shake that initial uncomfortable feeling, which impacted my ability to enjoy my time at the hotel. The room itself was clean, but the view was of nearby apartment buildings, which didn't add much to the experience. There was also no guide for the TV channels in the room, so I had no idea what was available. To make things worse, when I tried to watch a movie on demand, the system didn’t work. Although a tech came to assist, his efforts were unsuccessful, leaving me without that option. Overall, despite the cleanliness of the room, the poor customer service and technical issues left me feeling uncomfortable and unsatisfied throughout my stay. I hope the hotel addresses these issues for future guests.
