No email was sent regarding check in instructions and thereā€™s no staff and phone rang in office when called with no one to pick up at 5 pm, a guest helped with check In which is nice and automated but poor communication. Bed was uncomfortable and could not sleep properly. Bathroom has hot water was the only plus. windows and blinds are dirty and old with cobwebs and dead bugs between doors . Close to trails.

It's an absolutely gorgeous setting. The restaurant is in walking distance, and there are hikes very close-by. However, the actual room is a little shabby, though perfectly adequate.

If you like hiking,fishing and beautiful mountain and water views, this is the perfect place to run to , fishing out your back door, people who work there are great and have lots of great information about the area, restaurant on property has great food ,shopping close by ,playground for the kiddies to keep busy, if you are driving to this relaxing beautiful place there are tons of little towns and beautiful lakes along the way , i will be back maybe a bit longer of a stay , we stayed in September and the views are amazing

The location of the property was great, located between Whiteface and Lake Placid. Check in was easy and the room was clean. I would consider staying again, however i must be honest. The bathroom needs serious updating. The tub and sink would not drain, having to stand in ankle deep water in the tub, and toothpaste that would not rinse. The blinds need replaced, the window would not open causing black mold on the sill. Overall, the room itself was dated but nice and the a/c worked great.

A lovely riverside setting with generous rooms and window on the Ausable river side. Spacious green grounds with some walking trails along the river. Good quality restaurant on the site.
