I really liked this hotel. They upgraded us at check in without us asking and the staff was super nice. The ticktock restaurant attached to the hotel is 24/7 and the food was great (and affordable)! The area was mint, very convenient for traveling on the subway. The commuter train from EWR went right to Penn station which was only like 18$ one way. Very convenient. Lots of shopping and food right there. Def want to go back!

The staff and customer service were top-level. Every staff member was very helpful and ever so polite. However, the hotel itself seemed a bit run-down. There was a comb left in our room, and the bathroom wasn't in the best condition and was very different from the photos. The location was brilliant, though. It was easy to get around everywhere.

Honestly stay elsewhere. My boyfriend and I came to this hotel and it was a disaster. I get that the hotel is old, but overall not worth staying here. The hotel room was so small I could barely fit our luggages, the bed sheets were quite dirty and stained, only 1 plug worked in the entire room, nobody came to clean our room during our stay, and the window for our mediocre view was extremely dirty and foggy. Positives were the bathroom, the kind front desk staff, and location. Overall very disappointed.

The Hotel needs to be renovated.
The carpet was old and dirty, and the bathroom needs a major upgrade. The sink clogged up while I was brushing my teeth. The floor I stayed on needs upgrading including replacing the carpet, painting, lighting etc.

The hotel is located centrally with easy access to Penn Station. Due to this it wasn’t the quietist of hotels but it’s what you expect staying in Manhattan. The Tick Tock diner was fantastic and it’s 24 hours. The room itself was a little on the small side and rather old fashioned but it was clean and that was what mattered. The standard price of room doesn’t include coffee amenities and the coffee machine is an extra cost of $25 per day. I didn’t think it was worth it. I walked down to the lobby to the Starbucks bar to get my morning coffee which was a lot cheaper than $25. Over all it was a good stay especially with the location.

The package receiving office was negligent. I called asking if a package was delivered on the 25th. Told NO by the woman managing the office. Called the next day and told NO again by the same woman. Went down there and asked her to search again because of notice of delivery the day before. She found 2 boxes shoved up on a shelf the day before and hadn't told me in a timely fashion or notified me the day before as required. Bad attitude and bad service. Will be telling the hotel. She deserves to lose her job. The inconvenience to me cost me hours I didn't have to deal ahead of time with what was in the boxes. Housekeeping was generally excellent. The hallways and interior room designs are dated. However, are clean. My electronic door opener in 7 nights only worked one time. I had to go down to or call the front desk to get into my room 6 times. Beds were comfortable and nice linens. Some of the desk people were of great help. Others with attitude. Decent food choices. No water in the rooms! Surprising.

The staff were wonderful and the room was clean. I would have preferred more amenities such as in room coffee, refrigerator and small microwave. No ice machine on my floor and vending machines were empty. For the overall price the room offered the basic essentials. I expected more from a Wyndham property. A larger bathroom in lieu of 2 closets also preferred. The property definitely showing signs of age. I will be more careful in reviewing amenities prior to confirming reservation.

Ideal location, nice staff, clean room, very close to public transport (buses, trains, metro). Walking distance to most attractions in NYC. The facilities (like floors, rooms, common areas, rooms) need a renovation. But these are still clean.
