Big hotel room do exist in NYC.
Biggest rooms in NYC after many work and leisure travel to NYC we found a gem. Close to train station and large size rooms you can breath in.

Great location, friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Did not like the resort fees of $40 per day in addition to nightly room rate. One negative - they had no working ice machine in the whole hotel. They had one ice machine for the hotel on the 17th top floor but it was not working. When I complained on the second night to the front desk, I was told they would have someone bring ice to my room, but it never arrived.

On the weekend there is no coffee available before 7am. Available in lobby after 7. Starbucks across the street doesn’t open until 7:30 on the weekend. No coffee in the rooms.
