The location was very central, can walk to so many areas. The bed and pillows comfy. The cleaning staff super friendly and smiley. The hotel is a bit run down, trouble regulating temp in my room. Bathroom door broken, did not stay completely shut, not a problem since I was on my own. Iron burn mark on the rug. No mini Friday or kettle in the room. The food stand in the lobby is a rip off. Little things that can definitely be improved upon and then it would be much better!

I was pleasantly surprised by the renovation having known the previous hotel. I liked the updates, bright blue and white decor. Especially appreciated the rower in the fitness center.

Great location and nice boutique hotel.
The staff is pleasant and rooms large as well as super clean. Very convenient location for work and play! I have stayed at the Shoreham quite a few times.

The rooms are old and carpet is dirty elevator not in good condition... noise from next room is very loud as there was an adjoining room with only one door so could hear everything

We stayed with our dog and there was no place to take her outside. The room was dirty, soecifically the bathroom. The carpet was not geeat either, we had to keep our shoes on. There is no parking - you have to use a nearby garage if available. But the service was pretty good and the bed was comfortable.

Not the friendliest staff who probably missed the customer service module during their training. Also no WiFi available. I have stayed here multiple times and while the staff issue persists, this was by far the least favorable experience. If it it wasn’t so convenient…

Property was centrally located and easy walking distance to Times Square and lots of restaurants. My only complaint is we heard the elevator groan every time it was used. The elevator shaft must have been right next to our room and must be very old and in need of service. No coffee available in the room, only in the lobby for a fee. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The photos are incredibly misleading! The carpet in the room was absolutely disgusting! The duvet cover even had a stain on it. The bathroom was straight out of the 80s and looked somewhat institutional (i.e., jail—stainless steel sink?). The shower was old and dated. The lobby was a joke, and the front desk looked miserable. The only thing positive about this hotel was the location. This place was equivalent to a Holiday Inn at best.

The only reason to stay here is the location. It is dated, worn and absolutely basic. The carpet stains, the stains on the fabric headboards…the basic sheets, I mean really we weren’t expecting perfection but this was a disappointment still.
