NYC Grand Central Westin
This was not a typical Westin experience. Our daughter and son-in-law requested a crib prior to arrival and we asked twice while on property with no follow through. Eventually it no longer matters to continue to ask when it falls on deaf ears. Our mattress sheet was dirty upon arrival but did not notice until we went to bed. It was taken care of the next morning. The motorized shade and curtains were not operational. We gave our daughter a bath, but the tub needed cleaned as there was built up soap film. Just not the level of perfection I am accustomed to with a Westin property.

Multiple broken elevators made life difficult in a very tall building. We had to routinely ride the elevators UP to be able to get back DOWN to the lobby. The expresso machine in the lobby area was broken the entire trip. Went down the road each morning to get our morning coffees.

they downgrade my room: My room is Premium but the gave me Deluxe Room (they said it was busy for holiday so they made mistakes then they offer the premium room again but we already spend couple hours unpack everything) Also I stay there 5 nights (6 days) but they only give 3 bottles of water in the first day - when I asked for bottles the Asian lady receptionist said go to CVS nearby to buy

Only two issues from us, but would stay again!
Wonderful experience! Even got us checked in after our train got in sind 930am instead of the afternoon. The only two complaints would be lack of elevators working/running. People were waiting at busy times for up to 40 minutes with luggage to get on. We had to ride up to go down too. 15th floor to 41st, then back down. Second would be that the breakfast was included for ONE person, if you choose that option, but its 40 bucks a person for the buffet that wasnt amazing. So basically we saved 40 bucks but still ended up spending 90 dollars to eat one breakfast. Go with the two free drinks instead. Overall though, everything was wonderful location wise, staff wise, and any issues were handled fast and wonderful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
