not a positive experience why? I check in, email address entered incorrectly (makes a difference, read below) leave bag to come back later post-3pm front desk again lackluster, nearly rude (she was talking with a colleague, ie gossiping with her colleague, couldn't be bothered) check out incorrectly charged for minibar (which I caught because I caught my incorrect email address in "billing" in my room via console) put another way: headache time-wasting never again

From the moment we checked in there was a bad vibe. The person checking us in was sarcastic and unprofessional. Not once during our four night stay was a question answered with care or consideration. Google will need to be your lifeline for information while staying here. Do not even bother to ask for a restaurant recommendation or directions. The temperature in our room would not go below 72 degrees. Two calls to maintenance later and we were told “Just open the window, but don’t get too close with your phone”. NYC is loud enough but our room was on the street side of the NYC traffic bureau…. Sirens all night-let’s leave the window open! The first night we were there the bars were closed for private events. Another morning the restaurant was closed for who knows what. We made a table reservation at the Riff Raff bar. They tried to seat us at the bar and when we tried to correct it they sat us at a no view couch and sarcastically said “it has a table”. So rude! The table was missing from our room. When room service was brought we were expected to clear the vanity table. We left for an entire day and the room was serviced except for the room service tray. It was left on the vanity table. We stay at the Virgin Hotel in Chicago and are always made to feel like special guests. At this location, we felt like a bother and burden and unless some serious changes in management and staff are made, I wouldn’t stay again. It’s sad because it could be wonderful.

Just checked out today… and I am impressed with this property… location, Views, in room dining… the only bad thing I found about this property was house keeping for not cleaning my room 2 times… but maybe they were too busy idk but other than that great experience and will be coming back
