Our remodeled second story 2 bedroom apartment with an additional easy to pull out IKEA queen sleeper couch, is a quiet place for get-aways and relaxing stays. Come enjoy the renovated private entrance space on our family farm. Relax outside on the small deck, hike and explore our 78 acre farm, or cuddle up on the couch and have a quiet night-in at our farmhouse apartment. The chickens ducks and turkeys strut around the farmyard. You’ll see our horses, donkey and goats in the pastures. The pigs will oink at you from the Barn in the summertime. Easy access to Cleveland, Akron and Amish Country. We are always available to make your stay enjoyable.

We are in the heart of Geauga County with so many parks and activities throughout the year to attend and explore. We will help you set up and enjoy any activity, dining or experience near by.

Guest access:
This apartment has its own ample parking, walk way and steps up to a small deck. There is a keyless entry lock on the door for your convenience. You have the whole second floor of our renovated farmhouse. You have an efficient kitchen, breakfast bar open to the living room. In the living room there's a built-in desk, big TV with DirecTV and extra coat closet. The couch pulls out, too. The bathroom has a full bathtub/shower, toilet and sink with storage. The first bedroom has a queen bed, built-in desk and ample closet and dresser space. The second bedroom has a full bed with built in dresser and closet. The laundry room in in the hallway of the bathroom. High speed Wifi internet throughout the space.

We live just down the driveway and are here to interact if needed. Our friend lives below the apartment on the first level of the farmhouse and can help also.

Getting around
Uber and Lyft can be used to get around or you should have your own car. We are in the country, within a 10-20 minute drive to groceries, although convenience stores are a few minutes away. Cleveland is 35-45 minutes away west of us, Akron is 50 minutes south, Mentor is 35 minutes North, and Youngstown is 35 minutes east. State Route 44 and State Route 422 can get you anywhere relatively quickly.

Home away from home
We live locally but had to relocate briefly while some work was done on our home. This property is perfectly equipped whether you want to stay in and cook and enjoy homey amenities or use it as a launching pad for local attractions. Perfectly set up! If you're lucky, the chickens and ducks will be on parade in the morning when you get up.

My husband and I were in the area for a wedding. This looked like a lovely place to spend a few days and travel easily to the venue. This apartment was perfect for us. Peaceful, quiet nights!
We loved this place! Hearing the peep frogs at night (and nothing else!), watching the animals on the farm, fresh-baked bread and coffee for breakfast, having a hen join me on the deck ..... what more can you ask for? The only problem might be that the slanted ceilings on this second floor make it difficult for taller people to get around the beds, etc. Watch your head and, otherwise, enjoy!

The property was so homey and comfy. It was lovely. The owner left a homemade zucchini loaf for us which was an extra sweet welcome. We enjoyed our stay very much and Chagrin Falls is a lovely town to visit. The River Grill overlooking the falls was a great spot to enjoy lunch. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

It was absolutely wonderful spot. Just what my daughter and i needed. Fyi my daughter and i did take our shoes off! There were two others that kept forgetting too 😔 the owners of the property make you feel right at home. The place is packed with everything you may possibly need. My daughter and i were able to walk down and see the horse and donkey they have on the property and just as Miss Molly said, they came straight to us for some love 😊 and again, i am so sorry that i forgot to let ya'll know we left so early on check out morning. I should have messaged you the night before. It was an emotional fast passed weekend due to the loss of our father but thanks to Molly and family we felt some peace n quiet in between.

Quiet, warm, and cozy apartment!
This cute and comfortable apartment was perfect for our trip to visit family. The three of us fit comfortably in big warm beds -- which was essential in the bomb cyclone! It was a great place to be snowed/colded in and we were still able to visit with family once the storm passed, thanks to the owners taking good care of the stairs and providing shovels, sleds, and salt. They were very kind and we plan to visit again! It was super convenient to get to Burton, Chagrin Falls, Mantua, and Chardon (10-15 mins). And thanks for the homemade bread!

Peaceful getaway at a hidden gem
Everything was exactly as it said in the listing. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The farm is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The people are so genuine and welcoming. We went there mostly to go to Erie Beach and ended up mainly staying at the farm because we loved it so much. Very family friendly. Got to interact with the farm animals too. We will definitely be going back as often as we can. Wonderful experience and well worth the money.

Perfect country getaway
If you want to have a relaxing quiet experience in the country this is the place to go! Cute little apartment... while it is small it is very roomy ..very well equipped with everything that you would need to make some fun meals. Lots of beautiful tall trees around the property .. farm animals to enjoy. The he hosts are very friendly and accommodating, would definitely come here again and again. Thank you Molly and Family!

Country Retreat
We had to be out of our home for a few days while some remodeling was being done. We were so lucky to find this darling apartment in an old farm house on a farm not far from our home. It was recently remodeled and such a quaint, comfy place to relax. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. The spring scenery and the farm animals were so pleasant to watch and the 78 acres were available to explore. We had a wonderful stay at this country retreat.

Amazing Place and even better Hosts!
Perfect place for my wife baby and myself. We wanted a quiet place in NE Ohio and we got so much more. We took our young daughter on walks on this beautiful piece of property. My daughter loved talking with the horses and chickens everyday . We enjoyed evenings on our private deck where we were able to see every star. Molly and Dave were there when we needed them and also gave us our space. Molly and Dave are two of the nicest people you can meet. To watch them work everyday on the farm was also impressive. My family was blessed to find this property and we highly recommend this property to anyone. Enjoy!

Spectacular Setting!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the farm and recommend it for a quiet, relaxing, peaceful getaway. Our favorite times were sitting out on the deck taking in the beauty of the scenery and life on the farm. Everything was comfortable and clean with some lovely amenities. The location is an easy drive to downtown Chagrin Falls for great food and boutique shops. We enjoyed playing golf at nearby Punderson State Park and hiking at West Woods. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we’re looking forward to next time!

Very nice for a visit to family in the area. I loved the decor! Beautiful lush property. However, next time I would pack differently. The unpaved drive, stepping stone walk, and steep steps were very authentic to a farm visit 😄 but not conducive to my heavy rolling suitcase 🤣. Molly made it very easy to get in touch! The apartment is in a great location for Geauga county. All the rooms were nice. There were four people staying here and it didn't seem crowded at all. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed for preparing a meal. My only negative comment would be the apartment was invaded by Asian lady beetles. They were everywhere.

Fantastic little place for the money.
Home is very quite and had almost everything you need right in hand. There is no washer and dryer in the unit but there is one on the property that can be used if needed. There are no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors in the unit which was a bit of a concern for me being on the second floor of a home. All in all, a great place to rest your head.

Wonderful..relaxing place.
We were able to hike at Punderson park..even though our weekend was busy with a family get together. Molly was very helpful and their setting couldn't have been better. Perfect stay!
This farm apartment was perfectly suited for our needs, and exceeded what we expected. The space is big enough for privacy, and everything is perfectly placed for comfort. The couch in this living room is comfortable! No springs, and I slept well. The location is beautiful, Molly was more than accommodating, and the price was great. If you're considering booking this, you should!
