Log Cabin w/ Amazing Views, River Frontage & Hot Tub

Come stay in our always carefully cleaned, renovated log cabin in the woods with beautiful views of river, mountains and stars.

The cabin is located by the charming village of Williamsville, close to the historic Newfane village, only 12 miles from Mount Snow for skiing and snowboarding, and right on the Rock River for refreshingly cool and clear water all summer long.

Tastefully modernized by Danish builder, the open concept with rows of panoramic windows offers amazing views from nearly every room and front row to leaf peeping.

Recent addition: outdoor hot tub with views of mountains, river and open sky above..

It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway, a family vacation or quality time away with dear friends.

The 18 acre property is located on the Rock River, at the end of a dirt road. The property offers opportunity for scenic snowshoeing and hiking. We provide five pairs of snow shoes – (bring you own snow boots).

The propert has one mile of river frontage with access to the clear and refreshing water of the Rock River. In the summer, a private dip in the river is just a short stroll from the house, and just two minutes from the cabin, in the center of the quaint village of Williamsville, you will find one of the best swimming holes in the area.

Quiet, peaceful, lovely ... stay for two nights or several weeks.

Starting with the outbreak of COVID-19, we now block off a full day between reservations, to do a thorough cleaning of the cabin and the hot tub.

To help us mitigate the extra cost of this deep cleaning, we have raised the cleaning fee to $75. We appreciate your understanding.

Incredible Views!
My husband and I had the perfect stay on our honeymoon! The view was absolutely incredible, and we enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit, in the hot tub, and on the cozy couch while taking in the fall foliage. Lasse was so kind and responsive throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We wanted a quiet get away for our honeymoon and this cabin met and exceeded all expectations. It was cozy, clean, well equipped, and just simply a beautiful cabin. Our favorite part of our stay was walking to the river everyday to cool off and then just reading in the chairs that overlook the river. Our second favorite part was standing on the patio overlooking the mountains and river valley at night and watching the fireflies light up the trees. It was magical! We want to come back again and stay longer!

The pictures do not do this place justice! The house was immaculate and bright. Very nice appliances and has any cookware needed. Bed and couch very comfortable, plenty of towels and robes provided as well. The views are spectacular. It is very secluded and private, and the owner is thoughtful and very communicative, even let us know of a local open mic night. Amazing all around

We drove up from Ct and when we got there we noticed the hot tub was already at the perfect temperature and it made our night.From then on everything about the house and the property was simply amazing.There are so many areas you can just walk to and it’s all yours.Listening to the river every night just put us right to sleep.If you don’t want to see or hear anyone,you don’t have to here.Amazing time!Cant wait to return.Thank you Lasse!

Exceeds Expectations
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was the perfect blend of modern and rustic. It has amazing views (even though our entire trip was overcast or pouring), felt like private oasis and was a great place to both relax or use as a base for day trips. We enjoyed the wine and other thoughtful details at the cabin. Would highly recommend this cabin to couples looking to celebrate an anniversary or relax in peace.

Beautiful cabin and surrounding property that exceeded our expectations. The cabin was modern, spacious, well-maintained & very clean. The Kitchen had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner & what a view while we cooked! The deck, fire pit & sound of the river made it perfect. The other very nice thing was being able to walk around the sizeable property by the river; the chairs at various spots were a nice touch. I was very impressed by Lasse’s quick & helpful responses to all my questions. Hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed. Thank you, Lasse!

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, private place, this is it! Mt views are beautiful, the sound of the river relaxing! Other than the owner stopping by one day, we saw nobody. Shout out to nearby Dutton Farm stand and the general store for having gluten free options for my celiac husband!

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary - spectacular views, a wonderful kitchen, the perfect hot tub location and beautiful river access. Perfect mountain getaway
My family of four stayed here for Thanksgiving and it was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful inside and out, Lasse’s cabin is peaceful, well kept, and perched on a mountainside overlooking a river and plot of land that will make all your wild Vermont dreams come true. A gorgeous cabin escape
Wow, the views and the property are some of the most amazing of any vacation rental I've stayed in! I am a mountain lover and if you are too, this is your place! If you have the chance to stay in Southern Vermont and want a place that is in the woods surrounded by so much of nature's beauty, while also being close enough to a vibrant town and other smaller quaint towns, look no further! Lasse, the owner, is wonderfully attentive and so willing to answer any questions and provide suggestions of places to explore and eat. His instructions were super clear and he was very communicative which I find so helpful. The cabin itself was very comfortable for my fiance and me. We dined in restaurants nearly every day we were there so we did not really use the kitchen except to reheat some food in the oven and stovetop, but the kitchen would have been perfect for us to prepare any homecooked meals with its gas stove, oven, and dishwasher. The bathroom was beautiful, modern, and spacious. The upstairs bedroom also had plenty of space for us to access our belongings and even hang many clothes in the closet. My favorite parts of the property were the views and access to Rock River. The amount of windows allowed breathtaking views of the sunrise in the main bedroom and downstairs. The deck, though we did not get to sit and enjoy it too much because it was either too cold or rainy because it was mid-November, provided a beautiful way to connect with your surroundings of the woods, mountains, and the river. Access to the trail to the river is right next to the house which was super convenient and private. Lasse really keeps this home and property so clean, which we both appreciate! We are definitely planning on going back again in the near future.

The cabin is beautifully appointed and full of charm. The kitchen is very well equipped. The setting is very private, and the views from the picture windows are stunning. The home and property was perfect. The interior was extremely welcoming and homey. You can sit at the dining room table and open the back door and listen to the river and watch the light change over the beautiful mountains. Everything you need is there and available. Amazing Cabin!
You will love this place! Recently remodeled cabin with AMAZING views and a VERY relaxing vibe and location. We thoroughly enjoyed eating breakfast as the sun rose over the mountains and the sunlight flooded the cabin. The flowing river behind the cabin can be heard very clearly at night, which further added to the relaxing vibe. Everything about this place was great, especially the owner, who was available pretty much 24/7, and he very quickly responded to inquiries about things to do in the area. Also, the lady bugs are considered “pests.” We came from Houston, where mosquitoes are our pests, so this place also has the cutest “pests” I have ever come across. If we ever make it back up to Vermont again, we’ll definitely book here again.
