The Space:
Tiny Hideaway by Tiny Away sits in the tranquil town of Newham, in the Shire of Macedon Ranges. We are only an hour drive from Melbourne, nearby Trentham Falls, Hanging Rock Victoria, Hanging Rock Winery, and Mount Madedon Winery are a few of the attractions in the area.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home, perfect for family staycations. There is a queen-sized bed up in the loft and a couch, which can be converted into a single bed on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please take note that this tiny house is an off-grid unit that runs on solar energy. We advise guests to conserve energy during the day and only use it when necessary. Overall, minimal consumption is advised to prevent power outages when using solar power.

- Do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra while other networks may be intermittent at times
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- If you plan to bring your horse, please inform the land host 24 hours before arrival to make the necessary arrangements for horse boarding as usage charges and policies may apply
Important note:
- Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low power
- Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity
- Please charge your phone and electronics in advance in case of low-light days
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Don’t wear toed shoes when walking outdoors as the property is located in grassland areas where snakes often gather
- During winter, please bring warm clothing and appropriate footwear. If more warm bedding is required, please contact or ask your land host
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
