The Lookout - Oregon Beach Vacations

The Lookout is a beautiful, cozy and bright two story, two bed, two bath house overlooking Beverly Beach just north of Newport. This rental has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing coastal vacation with room for up to four guests. Experience the brilliant sunsets over the sparkling blue Pacific while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, or explore the beach with your friends and family. The spiral staircase beckons guests up to the romantic primary suite equipped with a mini kitchen, fireplace and access to a covered deck. Make memories with your loved ones while looking out on the scenery above the lush and private landscape. There are two flat screen TVs, two fireplaces, granite countertops, movies and games galore. The downstairs bedroom offers one king size bed. Beverly Beach State Park provides convenient beach access and is only a short ten minute walk from The Lookout. This vacation home is attractively decorated, and the open floor plan offers spectacular unobstructed ocean views from the comfort of the living room, dining area, kitchen and both bedrooms. Views were absolutely amazing! Perfect place for two couples. Hot tub was hot and had a perfect view, too. Beds were a little soft for our taste but everything was clean and cozy. If you're planning to cook while staying here, be sure to bring all seasoning and oils. Otherwise, very clean. Quiet neighborhood.

We loved this house. It had great views and everything you need for a stay. The hot tub is also nice. There is, however, a mold problem they need to take care of. You can smell it in the house and it’s especially bad in the downstairs bedroom. Our daughter couldn’t sleep in there because it gave her a headache.

Beautiful views! I loved my stay which enabled me to work remotely with no internet issues and enjoy time with my daughters. They explored the area from Newport Bay to Depoe Bay and Siletz Bay during the day while I worked and we met up at the beach or a restaurant later in the day. We all enjoyed a little fire in the fire pit looking out over the ocean. The balcony was a lovely spot as well. There's a dog park near by which our small dog enjoyed. It was very easy to balance work and play with a great location right off the highway but high enough up to not see the highway, just ocean!

We enjoyed every bit of our stay at The Lookout! The views are mesmerizing, and the sunsets are incredible! The house had everything we needed and in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and quick drive into Newport. We enjoyed our wine on the deck in the evenings and waking up to coffee and the hot tub. We can’t say enough good things about management and their quick and friendly response. We will definitely be back and we can’t wait!

Overall the property itself was in a beautiful location with a stellar view. The house itself was very sparsely stocked - in particular with towels. We expected there to be dish towels for the kitchen, but also plenty of towels to utilize for showers and for trips to the hot tub that is included with the rental. There were a total of 4 towels available for a 4 person rental, so we essentially had to use the ones we used for drying off from the hot tub for showering - FAR from ideal! We contacted the property management within an hour or two of our arrival, hoping that it could be rectified. The laundry machines onsite were not for guest use (totally fine, as this was explained in the original post), but this meant we were unable to wash or even dry the few towels we were given for the full weekend stay. I was told by a customer services agent over the phone that they would be sending someone out with towels early the next morning, but when I called at nearly 2 PM the following day and spoke with a different agent, they could see my request in the system, but could also see that it had not been assigned or communicated out to anyone locally to actually be handled. We were at this rental property Friday evening until Sunday morning, and it wasn't until after 5 PM Saturday that someone came by with towels despite being reassured several times that they would be delivered and having to make numerous phone calls. The view was very beautiful, but that was a redeeming quality.

This is a nice place with great views. It was clean and comfortable for my family. The only downside for me was parking is very limited and it was difficult to get my truck parked/turned around. Not a big deal however I would definitely stay here again.
