The Attwater was the perfect destination for our weekend getaway. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The property is located in a very walkable area. You can easily get to downtown or the cliff walk within a 15 minute walk.

I loved my stay in the Attwater! Great hotel in Newport in a quiet area. Hotel looked like it just did a brand new renovation, the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfy. The shower was clean and had nice toiletries. I specially loved the breakfast! It was delicious. The manager is selecting its menu personally and carefully changes it often and is able to satisfy any taste. Spinach aragula fritata and the savory scone did hit the spot for me and set for an amazing day in Newport. I saw most of the reviews were great and had about 9 points out of 10, but i was still nicely surprised. The hotel had a breakfast included and a limited parking at no extra coast ( at least we got lucky to get one). I loved everything. Manager lady was super nice and pleasant. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel at any time and hopefully with return myself!

The Attwater is made up of two separate buildings each with fabulous decor. Our room was gorgeous and I loved the separate sitting area. The breakfast was delicious and healthy.

Suite was very good large and well presented, separate living area large comfortable bed and great large walk in shower, continental breakfast included was also good. The downside of our stay was room was up 2 flights of stairs and there is no elevator and there appeared to be only 1 or 2 staff members around and no staff after 8 pm and only a number to ring or text if there was a problem.

Great location and my upgraded room was amazing. On the other hand, one of my companions whose room was also “upgraded” didn’t quite have same experience because of her tiny bathrm and very small shower. So if booking, ask for larger bathroom choice.

The hotel is beautiful but, unfortunately, has no elevator, which is an issue when one has heavy luggage and is staying on the third floor. We had an issue with our bathroom toilet, which needed attention for every other use (the interior parts needed to be replaced as the tube kept falling away and the tank wouldn't fill with water). Our friends didn't have such issues and I'm pretty sure they'll fix it before the next check-in.

Place is super cute. Fantastic decor. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms were rather small but very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to shopping, warf, and mansions. A little pricy but thats Newport. Only thing i would suggest for management is to replace stairway runners. These looked very worn. Overall excellent place.

The Attwater is a true fine. Lark properties never seem to disappoint. The positives were clearly the cleanliness and the size of the rooms. Bed was super comfortable too! Our room was cleaner than many other four and five star properties that we have visited. The only negative was the accessibility of the upstairs rooms. It was a little difficult going up to the third floor carrying bags with arthritis but to staff's credit, they assisted in carrying the luggage. It's an older building so there isn't much that can be done about that. This is a high quality and high value facility and would recommend.
