Liked: Cleanliness
Good, not exceptional
The Good: Nicely renovated, nice kitchen, good amount of space. Probably even better in the summer with the backyard. There's a great patio, BBQ and fire pit.
The ok: The location is Ok in terms of walkability... It's about a 30m walk from the downtown. Everything else requires a car, but definitely not a deal breaker. Second, there really isn't a comfortable living room, which made it more difficult for us to feel at home. The one living room is set up such that it's nearly impossible to get a good view of the tv. So if you're looking for a comfy place to watch a movie, this place doesn't really provide that.
The not good: The upstairs bed was not comfortable...we both left pretty tired after a 3 night stay. And last, the host was not the friendliest, or accommodating. We asked for an earlier check in (2pm rather than 4pm) seeing that they had a full extra day to prepare for our arrival. Our first answer was a flat no before I mentioned they seemed to have a full day to prep, which helped turn the no into a maybe. I finally got a yes when I asked for a third time. I also asked for the address over message because my email is busy, as I'm sure it is for a lot of folks, and I missed the email with the address. I got a reply telling me to look up the email... It probably would have taken the host the same amount of time to type out the address instead of that message :/ So we definitely felt like our requests were met with frustration and indifference :/
