It is perfectly located right in the heart of Old Town NOTL across the street from The Irish Harp Pub, Balzac’s Coffee shop and neighbor to the historic Prince of Wales. It is literally SECONDS, NOT steps, NOT blocks, NOT minutes from all the action that downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake has to offer. It is an ideal getaway for a couple’s retreat, girl’s weekends, bachelorette parties, families with children or just a well-deserved holiday. The world-renowned Shaw Theater, the historic Fort George, the Gazebo overlooking Lake Ontario and Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club, which is the oldest existing golf course in North America is a mere 5-minute walk away. You will be in awe and in admiration of the 1800’s historic architecture that this charming town has to offer you as you walk down Queen Street that is lined with outstanding restaurants, boutique shops, delicious bakeries and amazing pubs. NOTL has recently been honored with 2nd place in TripAdvisor’s 2023 Travelers Choice “Best of the Best” Popular Destination in Canada award. Walk into our open concept bungalow with keyless entry and feel welcomed and ready to unwind. The entire house is for your exclusive use. Our living room offers free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, luxurious Italian leather couch and chairs as well as custom furniture throughout the home.

Our dining room offers seating for 6. Our fully equipped kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining with a large island with seating for 3 and its opening concept design to the dining room and living room is perfect so all guests can interact flawlessly regardless of what room they are in. The kitchen boosts quartz countertops and all new appliances including a dishwasher, stove, microwave and fridge with a filtered water dispenser and ice maker. Kitchen also includes, coffee maker, kettle, tea, milkettes/creamers, sugar/sweetener, salt/pepper, oil, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, glasses for all types of beverages, toaster, blender, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels and cleaning sponges. Highchair and child plates/cups/cutlery available upon request.

The Newark House offers 3 bedrooms. The primary suite offers a king bed with access to the backyard via french doors, and the other 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each. All main floor bedrooms feature Canada’s award-winning mattress ENDY with hotel quality sheets and duvet. The lower living room offers 1 queen bed allowing up to 8 guests to stay overnight. Each main floor bedroom includes a closet, hangers, suitcase stand, makeup table with mirror and full-length mirror in hallway. Crib available upon request.

The bathroom offers a two person sink and walk in shower with rain fall shower head and a hand held shower head. It is stocked with toilet paper, wash clothes, towels, black make up removing towels, hair dryer and local organic made soaps and lotions from One Earth in NOTL. We provide one bath towel and washcloth per registered guest. If you require more, please plan accordingly. There is a second full and bright bathroom located on the lower level of the house.

The backyard is spacious and provides a restful quiet retreat from the busyness of King St in the warmer months. Walk out the primary suite through French Doors onto a beautiful deck with a stunning conversation set, surrounded by a serene garden and rope lighting. The backyard also includes a patio dining set with seating for 6, a propane BBQ and a relaxing Hammock!. Our front porch is furnished with elegant wicker seating that will allow you to have a coffee or glass of wine while watching the horse drawn carriages go past the front of the property. All amenities are private and for your exclusive use. No sharing!

The Newark House provides an EV charger for your electric vehicle and parking for 5 cars. Parking and EV charger are FREE for registered guests!

The house is tastefully remodeled and clean. Convenient location and walking distance to everything - waterfront, parks, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket. The backyard grill and dining set are a plus. Property manager is very responsive. Highly recommended.

A Home for a Stay in NOTL
Newark House is perfectly set up for groups of 6 to 8 with a fully equiped kitchen, comfortable beds and relaxing space indoors and out. The backyard includes both a sitting area outside the master bedroom and a patio with a BBQ and table for 6. There is even a set of colourful plastic dishes which my grandchildren made good use of. The location couldn't be better as you are minutes from Queen Street shops and restaurants as well as the park on the side which has a children's play area.

These accommodations were perfect for me, my two sisters and two sister in laws. Check in was simple. The home was beautiful and clean. The location cannot be beat. I did message Tara, not because there was an issue but because we wanted to know where she got the wonderful bath and body items. She responded quickly and was very helpful. We would definitely return to this home.

Girls Getaway
I almost have no word for this home it was so amazing. First the checkin and communicate with Tara was seamless. The home was exactly as described…clean, modern, nicely appointed and had lots of little touches that made you feel welcome. The front porch was the fav for a glass of wine or two and great for just enjoying this beautiful little town. All 6 ladies had nothing but fabulous things to say about this home and it’s perfect location. We all certainly would Locke back. Thank you Tara and Newark House…hope to be back soon!

Absolutely perfect!!
This property was the perfect spot for our family girl’s trip. We had seven people total (ages 12-71) and there’s was plenty of space (two per room, and one single). The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location couldn’t be better. The hostess was so attentive and answered emails within minutes. The house was beautifully furnished. We were walking distance to restaurants and shops, and also the lake. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you so much!!

We had a wonder stay at the Newark house. It was close to everything. Location is perfect and we could walk everywhere, which was great. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. I have to say the front porch was a favorite, we loved sitting on the porch after exploring the various shops. Would highly recommend.
