I had a wonderful time. Staff was fast and friendly. The Spa was wonderful. Highly recommend for a quick getaway

We were looking for a cheap, quick getaway, so our expectations weren't especially high. We surprised by the excellent facilities, amenities, and service. From check-in (with home-made cookies) to check-out, never have we had such enthusiastic care and attention from the staff at any other establishment in North America. Value added included a continental ( ) breakfast (included eggs, and tea/coffee service), afternoon wine tastings, and free shuttle service to the main area of town (Alison, the shuttle driver, was extremely helpful and accommodating). The room was beautiful, tastefully decorated, with a gas fireplace, Nespresso machine, fridge, etc. The bathroom featured an over-sized tub with jets and a very large shower. Downsides: the room was extremely warm—no real occasion to use the fireplace and no room-specific climate control (with the fan on, even -3º cold from outside the open windows didn't make it into the room). Although equipped with a TV, it was pretty outdated with no streaming options and limited cable channels—not that that was a high priority for us. Torn between recommending this place and "keeping it our secret."

Easy to access, lots to do in the area, well maintained, would stay again.
