Great location. Restaurants were surprisingly good. Fairly clean overall. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating overall. Very safe to walk outside property.

This was bad experience for me. First my room did not have a mini fridge,I had to call 4times until they brought one. 2.The towels were less than people that were staying on the room. I asked one the cleaning lady,and the next day same issue. 3.You never could find a beach bes in the first row,even though I went there 2 times at 6:10 am when it was still dark outside. 4.There were 4 restaurants and was a nightmare to be able to eat there. There was a limit number of people that could eat and you had to go to the hostest put the name since 6pm and wait until they could sit you. We were 5 people and to pay 2k each and to have this kind of service,it is just speachless. The sand and the water was amazing:)))

Property is well kept and maintained resort staff is spotty depending who you get. The food in destination dining halls is excellent but the buffet is also spotty ie., someday stale and unappealing other days worth time. All in all value for the I would probably keep searching.

My only concern was when my flight was delayed with the airport Expedia notified the hotel Riu Antillas Aruba and the hotel stated they never received the email so we had to find another hotel to stay for our last day. So disappointing.

Have a place outside near pool where one can avoid the VERY LOUD MUSIC which permeates the facility. (A quieter zone)

CONS: The floor I stayed on had a very strong odor. It smelled like wet paint the entire time I was there & irritated my throat. Some of the hostesses & waitresses were rude. I had to wait to be seated because the one with the beige glasses was playing on her phone even though we were standing in front of her. Very awkward. I wish the food at the buffet was served warmer. The restaurant situation was weird in the evenings… they’re all very small and would get full quickly, within an hour of being open. I found this odd for an “all inclusive” resort, especially for the amount I paid. One evening, I tried all the restaurants and they were full. If this happens, you’re stuck eating at the buffet. They don’t accept reservations. I ordered a margarita 3x at different bars, and they were all very disgusting. That was the one drink I’d been looking forward to. The drinks at the pool side bars were small & didn’t taste like they had any alcohol in them. The toilet paper was very flaky & broke a part too easily. PROS: The room looked just like the picture. The bathroom has automatic lights, which is nice if you have to get up at night. Plenty of outlets to charge devices. Gorgeous reception & common areas. The Italian resto was delicious! The beach was breathtaking!! The pictures don’t do it enough justice. It felt so peaceful in the mornings. No complimentary airport shuttles, but reception will call a taxi for you. Overall idk if I’d stay here again, but it wasn’t terrible.

The Italian restaurant was trash. I tried the new menu yesterday and there was no flavor. Some of the pizza was burnt the other wasn’t done. I sent my entire salmon plate back. The other restaurants were good. The view from the balcony was awesome! Make sure to ask for wash clothes because they’re not automatic.

I was promised by the hotel when I arrived that they would bring a bottle of champagne to my room because it was my honeymoon the second day I got there and that never happened, I waited a few days and they still didn’t bring it so I ended up leaving a day early
