This property beautiful and ready for guests. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an awesome backyard that is in the woods. The backyard has a patio area with a hot tub and includes a 58" TV attached to the back wall. This place also has a grill and 2 firepit areas. The property backs up to Lake Thunderbird state park across the street so it is not uncommon to see deer in the backyard. Additionally, this only about 10-15 minutes from Norman and OU. This is a great place for a family vacation or small gathering of people!

as someone who works in hotels this rental really does offer much more than youd get at any hotel! tons of privacy, a very clean and well kept house, and a beautiful area! not to mention the hottub and distance from lake thunderbird, overall this was a wonderful stay id reccommend to anyone!

Relaxing home away from home
100% recommend this property for your next stay. The hime was clen, quiet and just what we needed for a short getaway. Close to multiple areas with entertainment and food. The hot tub was the icing on top of the cake. We loved sitting outside watching tv. Host was fantastic and provided great amenities in the home.

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect in every way. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook meals. Very spacious inside and out. The area is very peaceful and quiet and the yard is very clean and kept up. Highly recommend!

The home was clean and well stocked. The power front door lock was a little touchy and took some time to get the used to pressing at the right speed and pressure to enter the code successfully. One of the beds was either an air mattress or felt like it was. But my son slept in that room and he can sleep on anything so it was OK. Other than that, the home did not have any major issues. The property is pretty far out on Highway 9 but if you are planning to go to Thunderbird Lake, it is literally right across the street/highway. The roads leading to the home are pretty rough (not paved) so you have to take it slow. And there were a couple of large neighborhood dogs roaming freely when we arrived. They were super-friendly but if you have pets, make sure you keep them on a leash when you are outside. The backyard was nice and secluded and the hot tub was clean and heated (we did not get a chance to use it). The firepit was nice as well and there was plenty of firewood available. Careful in the backyard if you have pets. There were lots of burrs in the back while we were there that our little dog kept getting in their fur. Overall, we were very happy with the place. It was as-advertised and priced very well.

We were in town for a wedding. The home was a good fit for us. It was in a private, wooded neighborhood. The road is rough. We have an suv so it didn’t bother us much. The hot tub and outdoor tv were a nice touch!! We enjoyed ourselves!! Thank you

Be aware of issues
We reserved this property for a two night stay. We were given the check in process and code. When we arrived at the property the lock box code would not work consistently. We contacted the owner and VRBO. At the time we were trying to access the property - the owner non- responsive and she refused to refund the rental fee since our cancellation period has passed (2 months prior to the stay). Concerning considering owner knew there was an issue with the lock box from June (our stay was end of September) and refused to refund and help us when we could not access the property.

Only thing missing was the piano to play. Everything else is great, road is a little rough, but i live on a dead end dirt road out in the country so i did not mind. Matter of fact staying there again this next week. Great Place !!!! Dan C.

Perfect place for family fun.
The place was perfect for our family. Lake Thunderbird is a short ride. The family enjoyed the hot tub and we watch movies after dark while enjoying a fire. The host Jennifer was quick to respond to our questions .We would definitely stay again.

Property is very clean and the hot tub was a nice amenity. The host has equipped the home very well. We saw deer in the large rear yard daily! Road to property needs to be bladed after the recent heavy rains. WI-FI signal is very weak so bring a hotspot if you plan to utilize multiple devices. Overall a relaxing stay.

Very lovely stay
