The entrance is nice. The room was too dark so could not apply make up easy. The bed was not the comfiest. No slippers or gown. We have had slippers in other dakota hotels. Molton brown wash items were lovely. Shower was great. Breckfast was too expensive. The gym was very small but enough in there. The blinds were veey dusty in the room. Taking 50 deposit is annoying this shoukd only be a pre authorisation not something that had to be paid back. The area was nice. Queensferey town is cute and a short walk away.Tesco just a few steps away.

This hotel was beautiful. Wonderfully designed, rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, staff was friendly and helpful, dinner in the restaurant was fantastic, and only 15mins drive to the airport.

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at this hotel! The friendly staff went above and beyond, holding our baggage, bringing it to our room, and even booking a taxi for our early departure. While it's an hour commute to the city center, the bus service runs every 20 minutes, making it easy to get around. Excellent experience overall!

Actually quite disappointing
I was surprised to find that my room did not have a fridge, as its a std in most hotel rooms worldwide. Someone had obviously burnt the desk in the room in a few places ( room120) and it hasn't been repaired. And lastly there was no one on duty at reception to check out, after waiting 10 mins (3:30am) I had to just leave my key

Staff were so helpful and friendly .Room was very comfortable with a great shower in the bathroom .We were getting an early morning flight from Edinburgh airport ,so the receptionist very kindly offered to arrange a wake up call for us . We had a really delicious meal in the restaurant the night before we were due to fly.The food and service could not have been any better . The only negative comment I can think of is that there was a little bit of dust in our bedroom and also on the bathroom shelf .

Very enjoyable, good food, helpful staff, great shuttle from the airport. Definitely will choose again. Room was minimally lit ( eco positive) and control of lighting a little tricky to work out. This contributed to not being able to work out how to use the espresso machine!

This a very nice Hotel. The staff, the restaurant / bar was superb. Complimentary breakfast was a plus. We chose this location because it was close to the airport, and mid-point to the historic sites we wanted to visit. We also chose it because of the on-site secure parking and on-site dining facilities. Note: the hotel does NOT supply bath wash cloths. Bring a loofa !

Great place, read the details when booking.
The staff was impressive and incredibly helpful. Pro tip- read the small print. The 'shuttle service' and 'free breakfast' only comes with a room that costs more than what we booked through the app. Staff was great none-the-less.

An iconic and 'cant be missed' building. a big black minamalist cube. But inside its very luxurious, reception areas very cosy with quick and attentive staff. The lifts were super efficient, there within seconds of pressing the call button and wisked up to your floor. The slowest thing being the wait for the doors to close. Rooms too are very luxurious, even having an espresso coffee pod maker. TV with sky, great bathroom and MB toiletries. We didnt eat at the hotel as its only a 15min walk into South Queensferry with many restaurants and coffee shops

If you like dark and gloomy places, youll love this hotel. Walking in front door had to come into a dark lobby thru dark hanging curtains.Spooky image and I didnt feel safe coming and going from room in dark hallways. Front door access card reader broken, no doorbell as sign indicated. Night staff not visible from front door. A taxi driver picking up a guest called the hotel for me because i didnt have a phone available.Staff didnt offer assistance for airport transfer that was advertized but not offered on weekend.
