No empty of trash or replenishment of coffee or toiletries never mind making the bed. I was there post surgery and needed a hotel that acted like one

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was OK, but there was only one 4-seat table for dining, and the hotel was a bit dated. If you're not a Christian, the giant stone 10 Commandments monument out front might be a bit off-putting.

The first two nights were nice and quiet. The last night was July 20, 2024 the room air conditioner was malfunctioning. The room temperature was a very warm and stuffy. I tried to set the thermostat to 73 but the room temperature remained at 77. The air conditioner would cycle on and off for only a few minutes. I did not ask the front desk for a room change because it was 3:30 am and we were planning to check out around 6:00 am. It would have been pointless to have a room change. I am requesting a refund for the last night. Please consider it. Thank you.

We always look for a place with a kitchen which is what made us choose this place. The front desk help was awesome. Parking is very tight if you have a truck. This is an older property, but despite chips and cracks, everything worked as it should. We did seem to have a lot of problems with room keys, even with keeping them away from everything electronic. The location was really good for all the family that we went to see around Colorado Springs and for all the activities that we engaged in. Will come back when in the area again.

Very friendly staff. They were willing to wait an additional hour to check us in for fear we might be late from Utah. Great rooms. Very clean and stocked. Will definitely check in here again if I am ever in the area.

The staff was very nice. Location is close to groceries and shopping. I did not like that the eating area has only one table inside. It was probably encourage to bring the food in the room since there is a table provided.

My goal is to leave a balanced review because when I booked this, the reviews seemed a bit inflated compared to what the property actually is. It is a dated property, but mostly clean. The staff ranged from fine to extremely, over the top nice (kudos to that guy). There is free laundry, which is nice. However, the laundry is in the fitness room, which left the fitness room too smelly and stuffy to use on my visit. The room is fine--again, dated and some things started to fall apart, small, but mostly clean. There's a nice comfy recliner in it! The A/C had a hard time keeping up, but it was very hot. When it got up to temp, it turned on the heat for 30 seconds, which smelled and messed with you a bit when sleeping next to it. It's right next to the bed. Breakfast was decent. Small, but a decent variety. The large monument with the 10 commandments should be front and center in Expedia's pictures and their advertising. It was awkward and off-putting. Overall, it's a 2.5 star property tops. The pictures make it look much nicer than it is.
