We were Evacuated due to wildfire, and Hotels.com and Motel 6 were pretty amazing! They were very accommodating and patient with our needs and anxiety. Our dog included. This meant a lot considering what we were going through.

NO HOT WATER !!!
No hot water until the following morning. The person at the desk failed to mention it at check in. Found out when the shower was used late at night and I called the front desk. Also a deposit fee was needed, not mentioned on website, caught off guard.

The staff was not very nice he wasn’t rude by any means just felt he was inconvenienced by customers, the rooms were clean but the hallways and vending areas as well as parking lot seemed trashy

Great for quick 1-2 day trip.
Room is nice for a quick trip. It has a nice sized fridge with a freezer, small sink and a couple chairs and shelves. Would have been perfect to have a small table to go with chairs to eat on after a long day. Check in was less than desirable as the gentleman who did check us in made us feel like he had better things to do.

If you’re looking for a place just to sleep in the area, this will work fine. The property overall is lacking upkeep, exit doors are missing hardware, hallways are extremely dirty and staff is not exactly the friendliest. Strangely, I signed no paperwork when I checked in, even though I asked. The room was relatively clean and a good size, was nice there was no carpet. The restrooms provide no amenities except one bar of soap. Again, if you just need a place to crash, it fits the bill since there aren’t a lot of options in the area.

Fine, except for a certain policy
I just needed an inexpensive place to stay while I was in the area doing a performance at a show. The room was fine, although the first one I'd ever stayed in that didn't have a closet nor any place to hang my clothing. But what bugged me was their policy that every guest had to pay a $100 deposit--I had to pay even though I had paid for the room in full in advance of my visit. How can I know for sure that they will refund it? I've stayed at a lot of hotels and motels, and have never encountered a policy like this before.
