This hotel is very close to Interlaken Ost train station and Harder Bahn. It also overlooks the river. However, the hotel looks fancy online but in reality it’s a bit dated. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. But the restaurant for dinner wasn’t very tasty, despite good service. The shower was over a bath, vs walk-in, which we didn’t realize so check before you book. The room had a balcony which was delightful and offered fantastic views.

An excellent hotel right next to Interlaken Ost station. I stayed here with my family for two nights in June 2024. The mesmerising view of snow-clad mountains from the room will be remembered forever. Strongly recommend

Historic elegance
Beautiful old hotel. Remember it’s old—an actual key to get into our room. Plumbing updated but toilet was a hard press. Don’t be put off by a”city view” room. Stunning mountains and Jungfrau are behind those city buildings. The staff was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. Free bus pass around town included. Convenient walk to Interlaken OST station. The breakfast is an impressive spread. I’d recommend booking breakfast as part of your room to save hassle in the morning.

Positives: Absolutely Great Staff - friendly, helpful & professional Great central, walkable location with restaurants, shopping and canal nearby 150 year old charming building with large rooms. A little dated but easily overlooked by everything else.

Espectacular localización. Cerca de la estación de trenes. El hotel muy cuidado aunque no tiene aire acondicionado y hay ventiladores en las habitaciones. El personal muy amable y atento a lo que necesites.
