My Place on the Rhine
This was our third time to stay at the Hotel & Restaurant Krone in Kestert and we have always been treated like family (the good side). We love relaxing in this little village on the Rhine River and watching the barges go by. The food has improved since our last visit and everything we tried this time was delicious. The beer wasnā€™t bad either.

Lovely place to stay on the Rhine
We were greeted by Mareen who was very helpful throughout. Relaxed atmosphere and nice surroundings. We had a top floor room overlooking the Rhine which was lovely. Good continental breakfast and the option for the half board menu which was reasonably priced. We ate in a few times and the food was very good. Must recommend the beef goulash with dumplings. The room was clean and tidy and whilst small it adequately caters for the need of the tourist. Andreas was a lovely guy who speaks very good English and was always helpful and willing to assist. Would definitely stay again!

Great Little Family Feel Hotel on the River
Great hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view of the valley off your balcony on the river. Yummy breakfast at no extra charge. Rooms are a little tiny, balcony is as big as the room, but comfortable! Would definitely stay here again. Great hotel for the price!

Vi bodde inte i huvudbyggnaden utan i ett hus bredvid dƤr Ƥven frukosten var. God frukost. Inte jƤttemycket att vƤlja pƄ men det rƤckte och var gott. HjƤlpsam dam i incheckningen. Mycket ljud frƄn tƄgen som gick ofta pƄ andra sidan Rhen men tack och lov inte pƄ natten (eller hƶrde dem inte i alla fall). Ganska hƄrda sƤngar dƄ bƤddmadrass alltid saknas. Vi skulle Ƥta pƄ hotellet nƤr vi kom tillbaka och kƶket stƤngde tydligen 2000 men de var snƤlla och stƤllde upp och gjorde mat fast vi kom ca 20.30.

Her bor vi ikke igen.
Vi valgte hotellet pĆ„ grund af dens placering tƦt ved floden. Vort vƦrelse var rent og nyt, men uden balkon. Sengene var stĆøjende og blev ikke fikset trods anmodning. Der manglede lys over skrivebordet. Vi bestiller aldrig igen et vƦrelse uden air con. NƦtterne var ulidelige. (HedebĆølge). SĆ„ er der kamp om p-pladserne. Der er for mange biler og for fĆ„ pladser. Havde gerne set noget info og gerne pĆ„ engelsk pĆ„ vƦrelset. Der blev gjort vƦrelser rene. Kunne anmode om nye hĆ„ndklƦder. Det er ikke altid nemt at forstĆ„ folk gennem Corona masken. Men flinkt og hjƦlpsomt personale. Hvis man ikke vil spise pĆ„ hotellet skal man kĆøre til nabobyerne. Denne by er meget stille. Wi-Fi virkede fint.
