Charming, beachfront with huge sun roof overlooking the beach

New building beach front you just walk a few steps to the beach, very charming only 4 floors. This area is a protected area (natural park) very restrict on building.
Is located on a charming little village on Alentejo. Use to be a fishing village, became trendy (but still charming and relatively small) with great fish restaurants, cafes, bares even was a night club.
Great beaches some of them you can go nude, it is allowed (they have signs). You can bike ride, Horse back ride, Hike, fishing. There is a spa near by on the ecological park. There is a lot to do, but the apt. also have a big terrace overlooking the beach if you feel like looking to the stars, sunbathing, or do nothing. The apt have air condition.

Modest accommodation in excellent location
This is a two star accommodation at best. Zambujeira itself is charming with a great beach and excellent restaurants. The apartment is basic. The garage parking space is rendered unuseable by a pole obstructing the space. The entry to the building is through a door on the alley. The view from the apartment is of the alley. The appliances such as the TV and air conditioner were not in working order No amenities such as soap and shampoo were provided However, the big plus was a rooftop sun deck that did have a good beach view. Overall,on our next visit we would choose different accommodation.

Well equiped apartment shame about the view
The apartment was clean and well presented, the lady who let us in had very little english so we had to figure out most things ourselves. The apartment is very small and does not have any sea views from the windows which overlook the street behind. The rooftop terrace is shared with 2 other properties and has only a partial sea view, You have to go out of the apartment and up 2 flights of stairs to the rooftop. The garage space is welcome but it is a very tight space so you need a small car and there are 6 flights of steps to the apartment. The beacj and restaurants are all within a couple of minutes walk.

Fantastic
Very well decorated, with everything you need, very confortable bed, the location is perfect, on the beach, park your car on the garrage and walk everywhere, and the roof top a great addition. Great restaurants, the host was fantastic give us great tips. We recommend this place is amazing, the walks on the cliffs are breathtaking.

Unbelievable views
Pictures don't do this place justice. The views of the ocean and the coastline are breathtaking. The small town it is in is welcoming and very inexpensive. We followed some of Susana's suggestions and had some great meals. Spent most of our time walking the cliffs and trails and hanging on the unbelievably beautiful beaches. Highly recommend. The apartment is very clean and updated. Perfect for a couples getaway! Thank You Susana, exceeded our expectations in every way!!

A Gem by the Sea
Very comfortable, well-equipped apartment steps from the beach. The sun deck rooftop overlooking the sea is a real bonus. A relaxing retreat in a wonderful seaside village. Restaurants and shops a short stroll away.

Great accommodations, Central to great resturants, the beach and hikes along the ocean to the south or to the north! Condo also has a fantastic roof top equipped with table, chairs and wonderful day bed for naps or sun tanning, I will return and will recommend it to my friends and associates, The owner was very helpful by providing me an email with all of the local information, Thanks Susana for the great hospitality!

Cosy apartment in the perfect location
The apartment is right by the beautiful beach in lovely Zambujeira so it’s no problem if you’ve forgotten something - just pop back and get it. There are several great restaurants within a stone’s throw (especially if you love seafood as much as we do). Even though we visited at the end of October, there were quite a few people around. Most are foreign visitors, it’s true, but the village still has local inhabitants so has retained much of its original character, while also offering the basics for year-round habitation, such as the little bakery in the centre of the village which sells delicious local bread, still warm, for just 65 cents! We found the village peaceful and quiet, especially at night. This is not a good destination if you want lots of nightlife, at least not out of season, but we weren’t interested in that and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. You could hear a pin drop at night! Like many other visitors that we saw, we came for the walking on the Rota Vicentina and we weren’t disappointed. Luckily, the weather was warm and mostly dry so we walked every day, both along the spectacular coastline and inland through rural villages. We can’t recommend it highly enough! The apartment helps in this regard, too, as you can park your car securely in the car park within the building, a great help in a village with narrow streets. The apartment itself is very well equipped for its size and comfortably furnished. We found it felt a little damp but this was because of high humidity during our visit. There were no signs of mould so it’s clearly not a persistent problem. There is a good AC/heater which we put on for a short while and that helped to take the edge off the feeling of dampness. All in all, we would strongly recommend both the village and the apartment.

A nice cosy apartment with a fantastic roof terrace in a charming seaside village
The reason for renting this apartment is definitely the huge roof terrace with a lovely view of the beach and ocean. It’s a great place to lie in the sun, have breakfast or an evening glass of wine! The apartment itself is on the level below with views onto the street rather than the sea. It is compact but with a well equipped kitchen and in a great location for visiting the many local restaurants and bars. The secure garage parking below is also a real plus. The village itself is cute with great local walks and plenty of places to visit up and down the coast by car. Definitely recommend for a couple.

increadiable accomidations a fantastic host!!!
The location of the condo is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, hiking paths and the village which is wonderful. The apartment is very clean and the host, Susana was very helpful in answering pointing out activities and answering my questions. I would return and recommend friends to visit Zambujeira so they can see for them selves above listed as well as the view of the beach and sun going down from the day bed on the roof top of this apartment.

Absolutely amazing place with stunning views
The location and apartment was ideal. We hired a car from faro airport and it took us approx 2 hours to get to the resort. The roads were very good and the scenery was exceptional. On arrival we contacted Mika who looks after the apartment with her mum and dad on behalf of Susana. It only took her 10 mins to arrive and we duly had a Sagres in the cafe below. The apartment was perfect with everything you need. The roof top terrace was so nice. Lying there wiv a few beers was heaven. The restaurants and bars that Susana recommended were 1st class. Fabulous coastal views from roof terrace.
The glorious coastal scenery of Alentejo is accessible directly from this apartment. We did walks in both directions along the coast path, the most spectacular being the one to Carvalhal beach with its beach bar being an unexpected surprise. Susana' helpful notes and advice were very useful and we tried most of her restaurant recommendations. The garage parking meant we could keep our car off the road and out of the heat. The air conditioning meant we could keep cool too!

Fabulous place to stay. Apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean, great location, kind owner!
This apartment is situated on the cliffs above a beautiful beach, two minute walk to the sand. Good views from the rooftop patio but not from inside. That's OK, who stays inside on their vacation? We would recommend this place to friends to visit! Right on the Rota Vicentina trail so you can do a short (or long hike) in either directions for even more stunning views. Surrounded by good restaurants! Calm and quiet neighborhood- we were pleased!

Very special small village with bueitful sunsets!!!
The most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen! This place is very scenic with magical views. We could not believe that places like this exist. So relaxing it seams like time stopped while I we were there The fish and the sea food are always fresh daily and the walks on the cliffs are fantastic with numerous remote beaches. The apt is great even has A/C or HEAT (I've visited this area before and it's A/C is very rare in this part of Portugal), and the Sun Roof overlooking the beach is just amazing, some days we just stayed there all day. Susana was super helpful with all the tips she gave us. I love this place…want to go back... JC

Wondeful roof terrace, ideally located for beaches and village
We had a great week in this apartment, ideally located with wonderful views of the main beach and only about 10 minutes walk over the hill to Altereinhos beach, whilst being close to the restaurants and bars. The apartment provided all we needed with the facilities being as described and the photos doing the apartment justice. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and hope to return some day.

Small, no view from the flat itself
Really small and not so comfortable. We did not have good weather so spending time inside is not so good, the TV is only 12 inches in size, no wifi, the dining table is plastic and wobbles badly. If it is just a place to sleep then it might be okay. The view is directly into other windows because the street is only 8 feet wide, there is graffiti on the building opposite, and dead window boxes to look at. The rooftop is nice but you have to open the front door and go upstairs through another door then around a corner to get there. At that time there was work being done int the street so was also very noisy during the day. We left after two nights to another place.
