Room was super spacious (rare for Japan) and the staff were super accommodating and friendly. Only knock was that is smelled like it had once been a smoking room long ago... that smell that lingers in walls and carpets was still faintly there.

My staple Hotel when in Sasebo - Bigger rooms that normal for the area. Very clean and super good locations for walking to everything you need.

Property was OK. Three issues for me, smelled of smoke, only feather pillows were available, and the refrigerator did not work at all. We used ice to power the fridge. I talked to a few other guests at the ice machine and it wasn't only our room.

I have been staying at this property for many years, even as far back as when it was a Holiday Inn. My biggest and only complaint is that the carpet in the rooms and hallways is stained and worn. I brings down the quality of the entire property

Great place for Americans to stay
Good service and very helpful with other Japanese services (local shops, restaurants and taxi services). The only semi-negative comment, the hotel needs a facelift. Equipment is old and carpets look well used. Overall, I would recommend this for Americans to stay.
