A cosy characteristic cottage, attached to the picturesque gate of St Bridget's Church, in the village of Bridestowe. Located on the edge of the idyllic Dartmoor National Park, in between Okehampton and the pretty market town of Tavistock, makes the cottage ideal for a couples getaway, avid walkers wishing to explore Dartmoor, sightseeing, or a family holiday. There are spectacular coastlines and beaches within 50 mins drive including Torquay harbour, Plymouth and Bideford.

Perfect base to explore from
The cottage was very comfortable and clean, the beds were really comfortable too, not something you can always say about holiday cottages! The whole booking and check in process was very easy. The only thing I would mention is that the kids room does look out onto a very pretty graveyard so you might want to prepare smaller kids or just keep the blind down like we did!
