Comfiest bed I’ve ever been in in my life! And fantastic staff and hotel breakfast. Coffee pods didn’t work in our room was the only thing and it got quite noisy at night, but the hotel itself is incredibly good value for money.

Smashing stay
The hotel was excellent, a 15min walk to our chosen restaurant Sicily on Sheffield Road and plenty of parking spaces. The twin bed was a bit narrow but we managed a comfortable night, made better by the blackout inner curtain and Aircon. Everywhere was clean and the staff were friendly and well trained to deliver.

Excellent hotel with a few flaws to be aware of.
Staff extremely helpful, clearly a lot of effort goes in to the people working here. Our room (a Junior Suite) was very spacious and well appointed with comfy bed and sofas. Food and vibe in the restaurant and bar were great - especially excellent cocktails in the bar. What was less ideal is the noise from the busy main road - perhaps more could be done with the double glazing as we were disturbed by traffic noise periodically. I know it's possible as I've stayed in airport hotels that overlook the runway yet are silent. Also there was a party/wedding happening and the loud music disturbed us in our second floor room until midnight. I get that the hotel holds various functions but it would have been better for the receptionist to tell us this was happening and until what time, upon check-in. Finally, I feel like some parts of the room needed attention. There were quite a few random marks in the walls which looked like someone had wiped greasy fingers in the paint. Very strange. Also the shower area in the bathroom needs a cleanup as there's quite a bit of pink limescale around the edges. Regardless, we still very much enjoyed our stay and might return. All the main features were on point and again, staff were amazing - nothing seemed like too much trouble and we felt very welcome.
