Welcome to Casa Josephina! This pristine four-bedroom countryside villa is located within the charming village of Quelfes, minutes away from the fishing town of Olhão and its beautiful white sand beach island, and 15 minutes from Faro international airport.

This villa is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden with fruit trees, roses, bougainvillea and other colourful plants, a large private swimming pool (12 x 6 meters) and a 2700 sq. meters of untouched land.

This South-facing family villa built over two levels can comfortably sleep 8 adults. It offers privacy, space, comfort and fabulous amenities so that you can enjoy the sun soaked lifestyle of the Algarve.

The open plan living/dining room on the ground floor features a dining table seating 8, a wood burning stove and comfy sofas for relaxing after a long day in the sun, LCD TV offering both English and Dutch TV, and a fast internet service all around the property.

An ensuite bedroom be found on the ground floor, just off the lounge. This bedroom features a super kingsize double bed and a window looking into the gardens.

On an upper level, a further three bedrooms: one with twin beds and private shower room, and the others with twin beds. Two of the three bedrooms offer access to a large roof terrace with sun loungers and fantastic views to the sea. There is also another large bathroom with bath / shower.

The kitchen has a table and chairs for casual dining, and is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, leading by steps to an outside covered terrace where you can find a BBQ, a fridge and a dining area.

In the garden, by the poolside, there is a cool shaded chill out zone for cocktails or for just reading a book; an elegant loggia with fridge, sink, running water and comfortable sofas and 8 sun loungers. This will be the most popular spot in the villa during your stay.

The villa is fully air conditioned.
Bed linen and bath towels (no pool towels) are provided.
Cleaning service, linen and bathroom towels are changed every seven days. Extra services can be provided at an additional charge.
A car is recommended when staying at Casa Josephina.
Easy parking on the driveway for a maximum of 3 cars.

Spectacular villa with beautiful outside space, pool and equipped with everything you need. When my wife needed a little plaster for her heel- it was there. I had a fly bite- antiseptic spray was there. A super relaxing experience. Lovely memories will stay with us. Only downside is that we don't own it!

Stayed for two weeks in January and apart from some rain for a couple of days we had tremendous weather. the Villa and gardens are beautiful , even in January. Sonia from the management company was always available and attentive. We had a wonderful, relaxed stay at Casablanca Josephine, we recommend.

Fantastic spacious villa for a family holiday
We were a family party of 7 and Casa Josephina got a big thumbs up from everyone - young and old - I thoroughly recommend it. It has a lovely pool area with lots of seating in both sun and shade and another outside eating and barbecue area closer to the kitchen. The villa was really clean and well equipped and the bedrooms were all a good size with comfortable beds and air conditioning. There is a restaurant close by that does excellent reasonably priced food - grilled meat and fish. It was easy to reach the coast - about a 10 minute drive and Tavira was about 30 minutes away. The villa itself is easily accessible from good roads so no worries about scraping a hire car getting there. The owners Adrian and Miranda are really helpful and the local property managers were also on hand at check in and departure with useful advice. Thank you for a wonderful holiday - we are planning to return.

Highly recommend this property, the villa was so comfortable and incredibly well stocked, everything you could possibly need was there from buckets and spades to every type of kitchen equipment. The grounds and pool area were probably the best we have ever seen. Communication with the owners prior to the trip was fantastic and the property manager was incredibly helpful and friendly. We would love to return!

Worth a Visit.
The pictures & reviews made our decision easy. Good contact with hosts. Privilege Homes met us on arrival and were helpfull & informative. Villa is fully equipped with everything you could want for a holiday & has plenty of room for 8 people. It is clean & comfortable with a lovely pool area & seperate BBQ / Pizza oven area. A car is recomended, plenty of amenities within 15 min drive including beaches & supermarkets, but cafe just over the road from the entrance offers cheap simple well cooked food at a good price.

Clean and well equipped. Nice and private but not too far to drive to towns and beaches.
Beautiful spacious villa which is well equipped for all your needs. Even after a cool rainy day we had a cosy log fire all ready to light and relax in front of. Also for those who don't want to miss their TV soaps or series there is British TV. Even though the lovely big pool was a tad chilly by the end of October the grandchildren enjoyed a dip everyday. I even braved it on one of the warmer days. The nearest town, Ohlao, with its fish market, is pretty much untouched by tourist. It has a few pleasant restaurants and not to be missed the ferry out to the beach islands. A little further a field we enjoyed Faro Old Town and Tavira.

Amazing family villa
Having just returned from Casa Josephina, I can honestly say it was by far one of the best holidays I've ever had. It was our first time staying in a villa so we were a bit unsure of what to expect but we had nothing to worry about as everything was perfect, the villa is better stocked than our own homes especially the kitchen! Communication with both Adrian and Miranda during the booking process to Andre in Portugal was second to none, nothing was too much trouble and all questions were answered extremely quickly. We requested an extra travel cot, high chair and stair gate and all requests were met with no issue at all which we were really grateful for. The pool is a fantastic size which easily accommodated 8 adults and 2 small children. The villa itself is stunning and in a lovely location. There are no bad points that I can think of at all, we had a fantastic time and would happily return. Thank you :)

Just arrived back from a fantastic fortnight at Casa Josephina. Highly recommended.
From our first enquiry to the day we left this proved to be a well managed villa with everything that we would have wanted for a relaxing holiday with family and friends. Adrian and Miranda, together with Andre provided a great holiday home with fantastic service (Andre even helped us out with a parking ticket)! The villa is well located for a quiet and relaxing holiday but with many bustling towns and villages within easy reach (by car) - the best of both worlds. The large pool and the furnished loggia were stunning. The layout and size of the property gave everyone enough privacy and space to not be on top of one another. The villa had a well equipped kitchen (plus two extra fridges, essential for keeping the drinks cold) which meant we could fully cater for ourselves when we didn't go out and the tv/wifi/games and aircon allowed our teens to 'chill out' when they wanted a break from the sun in the hottest part of the day. Comfy beds, secure parking, beautiful gardens and a huge choice of seating inside and out. Not much more to add other than we would return and would definite recommend!

Das Haus ist wunderschön. Alles notwendige ist im Haus vorhanden. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool ist riesig. Die Außenanlage inkl. Pool wird wöchentlich gepflegt/ gereinigt. Beim Check in gab es eine umfangreiche Einweisung in das Haus und die Umgebung. Problemewurden innerhalb kürzester Zeit behoben. Wir waren im Oktober mit drei Kindern in der Villa. Für Strandbesuche ist ein Auto erforderlich.

Entspannter Aufenthalt
Wir haben die Zeit im Casa Josephina sehr genossen. Die Heizung ist im Winter sehr hilfreich und als wir einmal Probleme damit hatten, weil das Gas leer war, hat der Vermieter das innerhalb von 30 Minuten gelöst. Uns hat die Lage sehr gut gefallen, nahe an Olhao, aber grün und ruhig gelegen. Wir würden wieder dorthin fahren.

Een accommodatie met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt een er een goede vakantie van te kunnen maken. De foto's van VRBO zijn een prima weergave van het geheel. Rondom het huis en op de 1e etage diverse zitjes, zodat je op verschillende momenten van de zon kunt genieten. Hierbij wel de opmerking dat het terras de 1e etage niet opgeruimd etc was en de tuinmeubels kapot. Doordat er genoeg andere plekken waren om wel lekker te zitten was dit geen probleem. De keuken en woonkamer voorzien in alle behoeften. Wij hebben ivm het weer dan ook elke avond gebruik gemaakt van de gezellige openhaard. De locatie van het huis was voor ons prima; maar als eerder door anderen vermeld heb je een auto nodig om boodschappen te kunnen doen of makkelijk iets in de omgeving te kunnen doen. Prettig en vriendelijk contact met de eigenaar. Het contact met de locale contactpersonen is snel en accuraat. Een minpunt was wel het onophoudelijk geblaf van honden van o.a. de buren. Ondanks dit hebben een fijne tijd gehad.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans cette villa où l'on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Tout est très bien pensé pour profiter pleinement avec différents espaces aménagés pour la farniente et le plaisir. Les photos correspondent et les propriétaires sont super sympas, disponibles et à l'écoute. Ils répondent rapidement à nos moindres interrogations. Quel plaisir de passer une semaine dans une ambiance aussi sereine !! Le petit café et les commerçants à proximité sont très cool ainsi que le gérant. Merci à Mr et Me WALLACE de partager de leur petit paradis.

Villa Casa Joséphina.
Séjour du 08 juillet au 28 juillet 2017. La villa est bien située, à quelques kilomètres d’Olaho (4 ou 5km), à l’intérieur des terres. Elle est assez loin des lieux très touristiques pour ne pas en subir les désagréments, mais assez près pour en profiter pleinement quand on en a envie… La villa est très bien équipée et très confortable pour la vie de tous les jours. La piscine a eu beaucoup de succès, malgré les superbes plages alentour. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. H & D
