Cottage (full rental) Can Llorigó for 8 people

14th-century farmhouse completely renovated located within the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa, 300 meters above the rest of Olot, and with magnificent views over the Pyrenees. 5 minutes from the City of Olot, the Fageda d’en Jordà, the Croscat Volcano and the Santa Margarita Volcano.
It has a living room with fireplace, a large distributor, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, two doubles and one with two single beds and a double sofa bed, all with separate bathrooms. They are 140 square meters of stay and more than a thousand meters of garden. In the upper part and independent of the rest of the house we live the owners.
Batet de la Serra is one of the most beautiful places in the Natural Park because it combines forests, pastures and some isolated farmhouses with huts and dry-walled walls of volcanic rock. In this place of multiple legends is where the first volcanoes originated, now only witnessed by different lava flows, already cooled and superimposed one on top of the other, which make up a soft relief.
Batet de la Serra is a town and former municipality of La Garrotxa that in 1971 was annexed to the municipality of Olot. It is located in the so-called high plateau of Batet and the population is scattered. As a center, we find the parish church of Santa María, which had once been a school and the parish house.

Fantastic stay with views that will amaze (ACTIVITY SUGGESTION)
Stayed here for two nights in July 2025 after visiting Barcelona, Girona, Carcassonne, Montserrat and more. My (adult) children said this was their favorite location. You should have heard them gasp as we drove the road! We had plenty of space to stretch out, and we watched the Olympics from the TV. Wifi was fine but did not test for Zoom or anything. There was a heat wave when we visited, and farmhouse has no AC. But the owner gave us a couple fans, and that made a huge difference. (I wish they would just put a fan in each bedroom, but this part of Spain doesn't use fans as much as we do in California.) The two dogs are so sweet! One of them went on a long walk with us and guided as home. ACTIVITY SUGGESTION: this place is only 7 minutes from Vol De Coloms balloon rides. We did that, and it was AMAZING. Highly recommended. We got to view the surrounding countryside (and even this farmhouse) from the balloon. My family loved it! We had a great stay, and I think this place would be great for a longer stay too. It is peaceful and serene, and the views are stunning.

Unos días fantásticos en un lugar precioso
Hemos pasado unos días en familia en Can Llorigó. La casa es preciosa, insitu todavía es más bonita que las fotos. El paisaje des del alojamiento es brutal, Garrotxa en estado puro. Todas las estancias tienen todo lo que un necesita. Mariona, la anfitriona y toda su familia son encantadores, estuvieron super atentos. Una especial mención es para la terraza/jardín con vistas a la Alta Garrotxa no tiene precio. Volveremos seguro! Muchas gracias Mariona!
