Our stay was very disappointing. Our room was never cleaned by the hotel during a 4 day stay until I went to the front desk in person. There is an extra $50.00 charge for every night you stay in the hotel that is returned to you 5-7 days after your stay if there was no damage to your room. This is told to you upon check-in. The HVAC system did not work properly and we froze in our room. The windows looked as though they had never been cleaned. The towels were terrible and the bathrooms are beyond tiny. There were many children running up and down the halls in the evening and there was loud music being played in the parking lot with gatherings of people partying. When I did speak to the front desk about the problems we were experiencing I received a “I’m sorry”. I like Marriotts but would NEVER stay at the Marriott in the Regency again.

The hotel was nice and in a great location central to many places that offer family fun. The rooms were nice but inconsistent where one was early remodeled and the other was not. One of the rooms appeared to be ADA compliant and that could have been the reason why. The shower heads were great in both rooms and made shower time feel like we were on vacation. The beds were ok but not as comfy and it could be that I am used to sleeping on an adjustable mattress. I wish there were larger garbage cans on each floor. Other guests would leave their trash outside the elevator instead of taking it down to the first floor to dispose of it. The only other issue was the amount of water tracked from the pool through the lobby and elevators. My family had two near incidents due to the water all over. I also wish they advertised the half indoor/outdoor pool. It was nice because hotel pools are usually packed with kids and this made it easier for kids to have some space. Overall it was a good experience and I would book this hotel again.
