The country house
The country house is spread over two floors, with terraces and a pool in front of the house. The extensive property with a 2000 square meter, landscaped garden and parking offers enough privacy. The country house consists of two halves, with two separate entrances. House 1 consists of three bedrooms and House 2 consists of two bedrooms and is occasionally used by the owner himself.
House 1, ground floor
On the ground floor there is a living and dining room with fireplace, with a cozy kitchen, and a bedroom with access to the large terrace. WC with shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, kettle, coffee maker, pretty dishes and all necessary kitchen utensils.
The living area is comfortably furnished and equipped with a large satellite TV and wireless connection.
First floor
On the first floor there are two cozy bedrooms and a bathroom. Each room has its own balcony overlooking the sea. Air conditioning for the summer and floor heating in winter provide a cozy atmosphere in every season. High quality linen and enough towels are available.

The country house is surrounded by forests and natural boundaries. A landscaped 2,000 m² garden with lawns and Mediterranean plants surrounds the country house. The inviting sun terrace with sunbeds and a 4 x 8 meter large, beautiful pool with countercurrent system (1.5 meters depth) is close to the house. Bath towels are available. A Finnish sauna, a barbecue and a large dining table for eight people are also available. From the garden you have a good view of the sea, and a wonderful peace. The singing of the nightingale accompanies you through the spring until far into the summer. And the full moon over the sea is a special experience!
The country house is located on the hill above Ićići. Ičići is known for its attractive beach and one of the best marinas on the Adriatic. For more than a decade, the beach in Ičići has been awarded the Blue Flag, an international symbol of quality service and clean sea water. In addition, this beach is considered one of the five best beaches in Croatia.
The marina, which is protected by the Učka mountain from the North Wind Bura, has 283 moorings with electricity and water connections and is the best port of the northern Adriatic for yachts up to a length of 40 meters. In addition to beach and water entertainment, Ičići also offers its guests various sports activities such as speedminton, beach volleyball, aerobics on the beach, tennis, paintball and football at the neighboring campsite. Hiking enthusiasts will find here numerous hiking trails that start in the center of the village and lead to the top of the mountain Učka.

History:
In 1888 Franz Josef I of the Austrian Emperor sought a health resort for himself. Therefore he instructed his personal physician to look for a suitable place. When this came to Opatija (then St. Jacob), the place was overgrown with laurel, a sure sign of a mild and temperate climate.
By imperial decree of 4. In March 1889 Opatija became the first health resort on the Austrian Adriatic coast.
