The 2-bedroom house has a covered outdoor dining area & decks looking out to the beaches & water. Equipped with everything you need for a great escape.

The self contained cabin at the bottom of the property (listed separately) has a beautiful and new queen bed, microwave, TV with FreeView, Nespresso Machine, picnic set and ensuite with toilet & shower. Beach and shower towels provided for both house and unit and samples of gorgeous 100% NATURAL body and face bars by local skincare company Nudi Point. Was a great stay everything we needed our only issue was the code was not sent so we had to wait and try wirk our how to get code ended up having to call expedia which sorted it but was abit of a pain. Otherwise location was very nice and place had a really nice feel and virw was amazing pitty it was raining but was still a great place to stay overall.

Cabin was as described. Nice view, peaceful. What I didnā€™t consider was Opononi has a population of 270, so itā€™s a tiny settlement. Options for dining & groceries very limited. I should have taken my own supplies of food & alcohol, especially over Easter.

Fab little getaway spot
Loved 'Opononi Bliss'. A well kept, snug little house, minutes walk from the beach, the store and an A+ fish'n'chip shop. The house has is very tidy and is well stocked with creature comforts (and has a good shower - which is always a plus). The owners are easily contactable and responsive too if you need anything or have questions. Will definitely come back here in the future.
