Nice spacious rooms with sofa and clean, comfortable bed, good Breakfast! Staff very nice. Allowed us to check in early. Bathroom very small, the door almost hits the commode so hard to get in n out Our mirror to the closet was off the track. We Reported it but no one ever came to fix it. Kitchen was not in good working order and so we didn’t get to eat our evening meal we had planned on there. We ended up at McD’s! No view from room.

Clean enough but some improvements needed
The water in the b’fast area was out both mornings. The water fountain did not work either. The tap water from the faucet in our room was WAY TOO HOT for little kids. I told the front desk but I don’t think she even wrote down. The sofa bed in our room 409 was AWFUL.

The hotel needs a major overhaul renovation. The room we stayed in was a king suite the carpet was dirty with something red spilled on it throughout the room. Bathroom needs a complete renovation. It is so small. You can’t even turn around in there. Terrible! The toliet sits so low to the ground very uncomfortable.The room was so dusty the small refrigerator didn’t have a good seal on it & didn’t get cold enough to use. There’s no microwave in the room to reheat your coffee. The little water coffee machine they had was broken. The only thing I could say that was good about the room was the shower head in bathroom it gave out a lot of pressure which was good. Some towel holders would be nice in the bathroom so at least you have somewhere to hang up your towels with your new clothes when you get out of the shower there’s a small door hanger on the back of the bathroom door, but is not sufficient. Bathroom door gets stuck when closing. Breakfast OK. We had dirty Breakfast plates. TV only has certain channels not a lot to pick from. We will not be staying at this Hyatt Opryland when visiting Nashville again very disappointed in this hotel it just seems to us it needs a major update. Luggage holder broken wouldn’t stir right for us to use. No luggage holders around we carried all our stuff up to our room. Hotel should NEVER charge their customers for parking what a disgrace. Customers pay enough to stay there. Hyatt should be ashamed of themselves for charging a parking fee.

With exception of the folks at check in.. the rest of the staff we encountered or talked with in the phone were either incompetent, rude or both. The manager on duty told us that the shuttle would pick us up at the Gaylord resort when we called. With 35 degree weather, we kept calling the hotel with no response. Even the corporate folks could not get an answer. After 30 min, we finally got an Uber. After that everyone denied that shuttle service was available, that no managers would be on duty for several days, that nothing could be done to recompense us and they truly didn’t seem to care

Advertising a bar and restaurant… Theresa very small bar area and there is no restaurant! The breakfast buffet had a great selection. The area you eat in is dirty, nobody cleaned the carpet floors where people ate and there were crumbs and food all over the floor. The front desk fuel could have cleaned up after breakfast but chose a to sit on her phone instead.
