Eagle Beach Gem

The proximity to the beach was excellent! The pool area was nice with just the right amount of people, not too crowded. The kitchen in the suite was great since there’s a large grocery store across the street to stock up on drinks & snacks. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby, plus the resort’s central location makes it easy to grab a cab to get anywhere in 10 to 15 minutes. Eagle Beach is amazing!!! The only negative is getting a shady beach palapa requires getting to the beach at 6:00am or earlier. Great vacation spot!

overall we had an excellent time with only a few minor issues. It seems a little ridiculous to tell guests they cannot adjust the temperature in the room and you need to call the front desk and theyll have someone adjust. If you dont want people turning off the AC, then put a cover on that section of the thermostat but people should be able to adjust the temperature as everyone has different preferences. Also, while we were swimming, workers took several of our lounge chairs without a single word and unclear why. Communication wasnt great there. However for the price this is an overall great deal with a very nice beach that is only a short walk away. Would def recommend.

Our second stay here and it was wonderful again. We love the property and the staff. The rooms and property are very well kept and so clean. The only thing I recommend is maybe allowing a couple of extra pool towels per room. For example if there are 4 people in the room maybe allow 6 towels. Other than that everything was great. We will definitely stay again.

Neither of the places to eat were anything to write home about. Thankfully there was a food store across the street and we made most of our meals. What we loved was having three different pools to choose from and a very short walk to the beach. The water and the weather were perfect! We’ll definitely be back.

Large rooms with kitchen. 5 min walk to beach through La Cabana. Good waterslide and hot tubs. Lots of good dining in area. Free beige beach chairs, though most tip chair guy. Must use blue shirts guys as orange shirts w/green chairs are La Cabana. They start setting up chairs for people at palapa's around 6am. Lots of Palapa's for shade, but go early. At 4am there might be a front row left, at 5am 2nd row, 6am 3rd or 4th row, by 9am all are full and they put you under the trees in the back. Some people went out by 3:15am last week. Lots of front beach space if you prefer sun.
