It was a very unique historic hotel. Well maintained and clean. Great beds and pillows. Plus reasonably priced. Would stay there again.

Property is old and window molding cause thw room to be loud and cold. The shower lever was stuck and I could not switch the shower to a bath. Other then that the stay was okay.

Had a great stay. Learned some history. Very interesting. Only thing is that I would have liked if the carpets were cleaned. Some TLC on the carpet seems to be needed. Otherwise great place, great location.

This historical property is in dire need of extensive renovations, as its current state falls far short of what is necessary to attract guests. Merely changing the carpet is insufficient to elevate the overall experience; a comprehensive overhaul is essential to realize the building's true potential. A successful restaurant should cater to all meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—while also providing a well-stocked store offering water and snacks for convenience. Additionally, the staff's unwelcoming demeanor detracts from the overall atmosphere, making it unlikely for guests to return or recommend the establishment. Overall, without significant improvements in these areas, I would not consider staying here.

The staff there is great. The weekend front desk girls were so nice n accommodating. We got there before check in time and they were able to get us in a room right away. Front desk manager Jimmy is awesome and always greets us with a smile and kind words. Brunch is really good too. We have been spending the weekend there several times a year and will continue to do so. Oh yeah, LOVE the pool!! Thank you SMA Inn for your great hospitality.

Older downtown hotel with clean, comfortable rooms
An older convention/meeting hotel, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The upper rooms have views over the surrounding town and mountains beyond. The rooms and furnishings are dated, but have all amenities. The hotel staff is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful with a large swimming pool and deck area. I would happily stay here again.
