Tuscana Resorts has received the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor for 5 years running!

Located 10 minutes from disney world and overlooking the world famous champions gate golf course, this resort is equipped all the amenities to ensure an enjoyable stay; a large swimming pool complex with separate kiddie pool, hot tub, 30 seat cinema, fitness center, bbq areas, picnic tables, and complimentary wifi . There are restaurants and stores located less than a mile away such as mcdonalds, chili’s, subway, pizza hut, publix grocery store, and walgreen’s drug store.

This condo is as good as new! It has been fully renovated with brand new modern furniture and televisions (March 2016). The master bedroom boasts a brand new king size bed with a new 40 inch flat screen tv. The second bedroom has 2 brand new twin size beds with a new 40 inch flat screen tv. The living room is equipped with a new 55 inch tv, dvd player, and new pullout sofa which sleeps two. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, granite counter tops, and new plates and utensils.

The location was fine with it being close to amenities. The condo was not as clean as it should have been. We could not control the temperature. We had issues with master bathroom tub/shower nozzle which made it hard to control water temperature.

The location is pretty central to stores, food, etc. The building this unit is in needs cleaning and updating. The elevator is sketchy. The decor in the home in the main areas and bedroom is cute. The bed is quite comfortable! The bathrooms, another whole story…they are uncomfortable, unattractive, and the shower in the main bath is not user friendly. Very hard to figure out how to even get a hot shower. There is also no place to put any toiletries in both showers. The carpet in the main area and bedroom is in bad condition and is dirty. Lastly, there was no information left In the room about where anything is on the property. No map or instructions on how to get to and into the pool and fitness area. The fitness gym is very outdated with very limited equipment. It is not a terrible place, but we will definitely look at a different community to stay in next time we come to the area.

Minimum Effort

The pictures are very misleading. I don't know what is supposed to be "Brand New, Award Winning, Newly Renovated" with this property. There is a foul odor (probably due to the old carpet). It DID NOT smell like pet stains or smoke, for the record. The towels and linens are not as pictured. They were thin and cheap. The main shower handle is broken, no light bulb in one lamp, light bulbs out in the bathrooms pillows are cheap and mismatched and

We stayed here to evacuate from Hurricane Milton. We had to extend our stay due to weather conditions and the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The property was very clean, newly renovated, the neighbors were really friendly and disney is right up the road! What more could you ask for? We highly recommend this property!

Inexpensive and convenient

Overall we were happy with the stay. It was inexpensive and allowed us to do a quick in and out of Orlando for a few days. Location was good and allowed access to various places. Good eating options around with gas, drug, and grocery nearby. Also, it was right off the highway. Master bed was not very comfortable. It was serviceable, and certainly could have been worse. The latch lock on the door was missing so that was something that should have been noticed and easily replaced before checkin. There were Roku TVs available with streaming provided.

Beautiful property but I was staying on the 3rd floor. The family above me for 4 days straight, Ran across the floor stomping the floor which woke me kids and I up every morning at 7am and would continue at night around 9pm. I could hear a baby crying through the vent. I liked that you could bring pets and I like the culture. No one was ever in the front office to assist with issues or concerns such as noise violations. It’s nice but wouldn’t Be my first Pick moving forward

Travel a lot and this was a very nice departure from Hotel life. Very quiet at night and i slept great. Perfect for getting a home like feel on the road. Zero issues with the property.

Beware

Before arriving I had a family emergency. When I contacted the property manager/owner regarding shortening my stay he was very short and non empathetic in regards to flexibility even when I asked about changing the dates without a refund. The place is extremely outdated. Upon entry there was a strong odor of smoke (like it’s in the furniture, carpet, bedding, and walls). When I emailed regarding the smoke issue I was no response (mind you he was quick to respond to anything related to modifications or money matters). The sign in the kitchen clearly states this is non smoking apartment/condo. My husband and my 3 yr old are asthmatics. Lastly there was human hair everywhere in both bathrooms and the couch. I would highly recommend you stay elsewhere.

Perfect home away from home

Mark was a fantastic host. Quick replies and eager to offer help. The Tuscana Resort is awesome. You could spend the entire week poolside, relaxing. Or, it’s a quick drive to the Disney parks, beaches and gator tours. The unit offered all the amenities we needed for our stay. And Mark was great at letting us know what to pack or pick up at a store 1 mile away. My husband and I enjoyed our walk from the unit to the pool each day, however my son thought it was a bit of a hike. Coffees on the patio in the mornings were amazing. And lounging in bed enjoying shows to unwind at the end of the day provided the extra comforts of home We loved on site laundry and a dishwasher Perfect for a small group of 4 Looking forward to returning

Great location/unit for the price

We spent a week at this property and overall it was great. It's an older building and the unit has been nicely redecorated (but not renovated). The community pool was very nice and large enough for lap swimming (which is one of the reasons we booked it). So while it's not luxury, it was perfectly comfortable and a great deal for the price.

Tuscana Resort

Mark is VERY responsive as is Fernando, the man who helped take care of things. We ended up with a brand new microwave because of some little glitches with the other one. It was great to have a full size washer and dryer, too! Convenient to restaurants and could even walk to the grocery store.

Conference stay

I recently attended a conference at the Omni champions gate. Rooms at the hotel were no longer available so I found this property. Convenient location in a gated complex. The unit was very clean and would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.
