Stay at Hilton Garden Inn Orlando I-4 Millenia
I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando I-4 Millenia Blvd Mall for five nights, and I was deeply disappointed. I chose this hotel based on my excellent experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Brookline, Boston, but this stay did not meet the same standards.
Upon my late 11 PM check-in, I requested a room with a sliding glass shower door but was moved to three different rooms, none of which had the requested walk-in shower door. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for three nights of my stay. An engineer was called to address the issue, delaying the start of one of my days—a significant inconvenience.
This newly built hotel (2024) also lacks basic amenities. There were no options for hanging clothes—no hooks, no racks—something I’ve never encountered at any hotel. On the final night, a foul smell of vomit came through the bathroom vents, stinking up the entire room. To top it off, I found a small bug on the shower curtain.
The entire experience was frustrating, and I couldn’t wait to check out. I contacted Hotels.com for compensation and was successful, but it doesn’t change the fact that this stay was not worth the headache. I would avoid this property entirely and spend my money elsewhere for a better experience. This was a disappointing reflection of the Hilton Garden Inn brand.
