Amazing
How amazing is this place. We immediately relaxed to the point that some days we just sat and enjoyed the farm. The accommodation was as per brochure. Everything needed was provided. The working farm was lovely to experience even with the arrival of twin calves! The chickens provided the most beautiful fresh eggs. The chocolate cake referenced on many reviews lived up to expectations. We sat out in the garden and enjoyed meals, drinks and scrabble well into the evenings. Location wise we were able to enjoy seeing the Dales without travelling far. Christine was fantastic sending us off in the right direction to see the best that the area had to offer. If you want to relax and recharge then this is the right place for you. We will most certainly return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything showed that the host put a lot of thoughts into it. The only drawback is that it’s a little far from the Yorkshire dale national park.

Lambing Season - Fabulous Base
Cannot express how fabulous this place is. The hosts Christine and Chris are welcoming and friendly and were more than happy to show us around to see the lambs. Set on a beautiful farm with it's own lovely walks. Very welcoming place and a lovely chocolate cake upon arrival (as equally pleasant as the hosts) Would highly recommend a stay.

One of the very best places we’ve ever encountered. The setting is beautiful and serene and the host is second to none. The pictures don’t quite do justice to the charm and beauty of this place. It was very spacious for us. We highly recommend this place.

Delightful stay
We have thoroughly enjoyed a most delightful stay at The Cottage, Scaife Hall Farm near Blubberhouses. The location was perfect ! Beautiful surrounding countryside and being situated on a working farm was absolutely fantastic! The cottage is very well appointed and packed with everything you need. There is a very clean & well equipped kitchen, ideal for lots of home cooking which can be enjoyed at a large table in a lovely dining room with gorgeous views of the open countryside. The bedrooms (all en-suite) were immaculate, all set up with very comfortable bedding and fluffy white towels in each en-suite. The front garden looks over the valley and nearby river where you can enjoy some beautiful walks, it’s set up with a traditional lawn and gate along with decking area with comfortable seating, huge table and a barbecue. The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the local area, speckled with cute villages and nice country pubs and excellent walks in every direction. Pately Bridge, Grassington and Ilkley are all worth a visit. Our host, Christine was incredibly warm & kind, she gave lots of hints and tips about the local area and was super friendly! Some lovely touches provided by Christine were a huge freshly baked homemade chocolate cake, a dozen freshly hatched eggs, milk, local jam and chilled bottled water, I would thoroughly recommend Scaife Hall Farm for its location, cosy and well equipped feel and the wonderful warm hospitality from Christine.

Beautiful spot.
The farm is in a completely beautiful spot with views stretching as far as the eye can see. Sheep stand on paths in the way of the car and potter around at the edge of the garden. The garden is nicely planted and faces south with a substantial garden table and chairs. The owner is around and lovely, but unobtrusive. She keeps chickens and we bought lots of fresh eggs for half the price of supermarket free range organic. Inside is nicely kitted out and comfy without being fussy.
