Overall the stay was Okay. However, breakfast options were minimal, front desk staff was not friendly at all and seemed very inconvenienced by my needing my key fixed.
The toilet in the room clogged with two tissues in it and needed to be plunged. The maintenance man wouldn’t allow me to plunge myself so he came in and fixed it but then scolded me for flushing wrong??
Property outside was nice and maintained fairly well. Easy to walk to the Tim Hortons directly across the parking lot. Inside the property was fairly clean but things were broken (door handle, elevator button, hand sanitizer machine.)
Beds were clean and comfortable and temperature was easy to control in the room. Bathtub was stained/slightly dirty and counters had burn marks from cigarettes or something. Water pressure in shower was great though.
I was say the pros and cons are roughly even, which is why my rating was 3 stars. If staff at the front were more welcoming and accommodating, that would have gone a LONG way to help things. Instead i felt nervous to ask for help for things because they were extremely annoyed by any request. I wasn’t trying to be difficult, I only asked two questions, one was fixing my key and one was asking for a plunger.
Thanks for the stay, I liked that there was a nice dining table in the room and the beds and pillows were awesome. I hope that staff is treated better in future so that maybe they won’t be as burnt out.
