Our house is located in a small village near Marialinden. From the large terrace you have a wonderful view of the Bergisches Land.
The former farm building of a horse breeding was renovated and completely modernized by us and was furnished with great attention to detail.
On the ground floor there is a beautiful kitchen with seating. The new kitchen has a dishwasher, induction field and a microwave with grill function.
Through the open passage you get into the living room with a fireplace and an oak sofa which can be converted into a sleeping place in just a few steps. From the living room you also get to the terrace which extends across the entire front of the house.
On the ground floor adjacent to the living room is the bathroom with a shower and large vanity.
From the kitchen you reach the upper floor by stairs and there are the two bedrooms of the house.
The master bedroom has a large, comfortable double bed. The 2nd The bedroom is in the gallery with a sofa bed that can be converted into a comfortable bed in just a few steps. But it is not a sofa bed but a bed with slatted frame and bed mattress that is folded out.
We have a wallbox for electric vehicles on the property and tenants are welcome to charge their vehicles with us. Our wallbox has a type 2 plug.
The entire house is heated by allergy-friendly infrared heating. In winter the beautiful stove invites you to linger comfortably in the living room.
From all windows you have a wonderful view of the Bergisches Land, meadows and forests.
A supermarket is located in Marialinden about 1.5 km away where a bakery is open on Sundays. Here you will also find restaurants and pubs. The nearest train station with connections to Cologne and buses to Siegburg and Bonn is approx. 6 km away. It is about 5km to the A4 motorway towards Cologne. In about 30 minutes you are in Cologne.
The nature reserve Schlingenbachtal is within walking distance and many beautiful hiking opportunities. In Lindlar approx. 10 km away there is a very interesting open-air museum about rural life in the Bergisch region.
