Cozy holiday home with a magnificent view

Our house is located in a small village near Marialinden. From the large terrace you have a wonderful view of the Bergisches Land.

The former farm building of a horse breeding was renovated and completely modernized by us and was furnished with great attention to detail.

On the ground floor there is a beautiful kitchen with seating. The new kitchen has a dishwasher, induction field and a microwave with grill function.

Through the open passage you get into the living room with a fireplace and an oak sofa which can be converted into a sleeping place in just a few steps. From the living room you also get to the terrace which extends across the entire front of the house.

On the ground floor adjacent to the living room is the bathroom with a shower and large vanity.

From the kitchen you reach the upper floor by stairs and there are the two bedrooms of the house.

The master bedroom has a large, comfortable double bed. The 2nd The bedroom is in the gallery with a sofa bed that can be converted into a comfortable bed in just a few steps. But it is not a sofa bed but a bed with slatted frame and bed mattress that is folded out.

We have a wallbox for electric vehicles on the property and tenants are welcome to charge their vehicles with us. Our wallbox has a type 2 plug.

The entire house is heated by allergy-friendly infrared heating. In winter the beautiful stove invites you to linger comfortably in the living room.

From all windows you have a wonderful view of the Bergisches Land, meadows and forests.

A supermarket is located in Marialinden about 1.5 km away where a bakery is open on Sundays. Here you will also find restaurants and pubs. The nearest train station with connections to Cologne and buses to Siegburg and Bonn is approx. 6 km away. It is about 5km to the A4 motorway towards Cologne. In about 30 minutes you are in Cologne.

The nature reserve Schlingenbachtal is within walking distance and many beautiful hiking opportunities. In Lindlar approx. 10 km away there is a very interesting open-air museum about rural life in the Bergisch region.

Very relaxing time.
My wife and I along with our 3 month old son and two dogs had an amazing stay. Very relaxing, clean and comfortable. The modern touches along with the views and location make this a perfect place to get away from it all.

Absolutely perfect!
Everything was perfect. The house was immaculate and modern, the view breathtaking. The landlord so pleasant. We stayed with our beagle and our son joined us for the last night. So the size was great for our needs. We didn't want our stay to come to an end and look forward to returning. If you're looking for a quiet comfortable place to spend some relaxing days, with easy access (15 minute drive) to the local train to Cologne in Overath, this is for you.

Trotz Not-OP unseres Hundes, konnten wir uns erholen. Dank einer wirklich schönen naturnahen Umgebung. Trotz manch eines Regenschauers konnten wir uns immer auf der komplett überdachten Terrasse aufhalten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich.

Wunderbare Unterkunft & Umgebung
Wir waren relativ spontan auf der Suche nach einer geeigneten Unterkunft über Silvester und fanden per Zufall diese und was soll ich sagen: Sie war/ist wirklich wunderbar. Der Kamin, die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist genau wie abgebildet. Dazu dieser wunderschöne Ausblick, einfach herrlich. Wir sind mit unserer Hündin verreist, womit es keine Probleme gab. Herr Rhein hatte uns sogar noch Teppich für die Treppe gegeben, dass unsere Hündin nicht runterrutscht. Wir werden sicherlich noch einmal hierher reisen, da es allem in allem eine 10 von 10 war :)

Ganz tolles Haus mit allem was man braucht.
Ein wunderschöner, erholsamer, entspannter Aufenthalt in diesem großartigen Haus. Der Bollerofen war genau richtig zur Jahreszeit. Holz spendierte der Gastgeber. Wohlfühloase. Wunderbar zum Entspannen, Kochen, Projektarbeit am PC ganz in Ruhe; mit toller Aussicht. WLAN wesentlich besser als in vielen Städten und super stark und stabil. Perfekt zum Arbeiten. Alles vorhanden; wie zuhause. Bis zum Korkenzieher. Schöne Wanderungen ringsherum. Bergische Toskana. Mal Sonne, mal Nebel. Immer schöne Blicke. Der Gastgeber ist superfreundlich. Der Kontakt von Anfang an superschnell und sehr gastfreundlich. Und bekam sogar Hühnereier aus eigener Haltung. Danke! Toller Edeka und Bäcker unweit von hier. Eher selten auf dem Land: Es gibt eine E-Auto-Ladesäule zur Mitnutzung! Resümee: Vielen Dank! Ich fahre gechillt nachhause.

Wir waren zu zweit mit unserem Hund eine Woche in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Was soll man sagen? Es war das sauberste und best durchdachteste Ferienhaus, in dem wir bisher waren (und wir waren schon in etlichen). Nicht zu toppen ist die große überdachte Terrasse und die Tatsache, dass es überall genug Beleuchtung gab. Unglaublich nette Vermieter und Nachbarschaft. Von solchen Ferienhäusern sollte es mehr geben! Die Fotos und die Beschreibung im Inserat entsprechen der Wirklichkeit! Auch das ist nicht selbstverständlich! Wenn wir dürfen, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder 😊

Vakantieverblijf in Bergisches Land
Heerlijk vakantiehuis met een geweldige veranda (altijd buiten kunnen zitten bij wat regen en ook warme dagen) en een prachtig uitzicht over het Bergisches Land en de Milka koetjes ‘voor de deur’ + binnen een straal van 30 minuten maar liefst 5 prachtige golfbanen en vlakbij Keulen en Bonn. Wij hebben genoten samen met onze katers Tom & Jerry 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Great stay in Linde!
We had a very nice long weekend with our 1,5 year old son. The location of the house was nice and it has everything you need for a stay with your kids. Would also recommend for other parties who are looking for a quiet weekend away.

So stellt man sich Erholung vor!
Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet und ließ nichts vermissen. Die Ruhe, der Ausblick und die Lage waren einfach bemerkenswert. Wir konnten von der schönen Terrasse aus die Mufflons beobachten. Wir können Familie Rhein und ihr schönes Ferienhaus nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Traumhafte Aussicht
Schönes Ferienhaus mit super Aussicht ins Bergische. Auf der tollen Terrasse kann man die Ruhe genießen und wunderbar entspannen und mit viel Glück Mufflons sehen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Familie Rhein sind nette Vermieter und immer hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Domizil in beeindruckender Landschaft
Nach zurückliegend anstrengenden Monaten wollten wir einfach ein paar Tage ausspannen, Zeit zu Zweit mit Hund, Natur genießen, Wandern, Radeln... und das (aus dem Münsterland kommend) ohne lange Anfahrt. Überwältigt von den Eindrücken des nahegelegenen Bergischen Landes (erinnerte uns in Vielem ans Allgäu) und von den unzähligen Wanderwegen rund um Marialinden (fern von Autoverkehr) haben wir das unglaublich schöne und in allen Räumen sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienhaus von Familie Rhein absolut genossen. Nach wirklich nettem Empfang durch Birgit haben wir uns vom ersten Eintritt ins Ferienhaus an total wohlgefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, ein kleines technisches Problem wurde direkt durch Marc behoben, der Ausblick von der überdachten Terrasse und vom Wohnzimmer in die Weite der Landschaft und dazu passendes Wetter hat uns auch Mitte Oktober noch ermöglicht, die ein oder andere Mahlzeit draussen sitzend zu essen. Wir haben den Link zur Ferienwohnung mit kurzen Bericht bereits mehrmals mit Freunden geteilt. Herzlichen Dank für diese schöne Möglichkeit der Erholung! Norbert und Ulla von Raesfeld 🌞

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und der Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Herr Rhein und seine Familie sind sehr nett und wir konnten sie immer erreichen wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Obwohl es nicht so kalt war, hat uns Herr Rhein den Kamin angemacht, weil meine Mutter etwas kalt war. Das war wirklich sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank für alles. Die Aussicht in ein Traum. Eine Riesen Terasse, die Betten super bequem, sehr sehr sauber und ordentlich. Super liebevoll eingerichtet. Hier kann man sich nur wohl fühlen. Vielen lieben Dank bis bald

Alles netjes. Huis is netjes afgewerkt met diverse moderne snufjes. Alleen geen airco maar wel ventilatoren aanwezig waardoor warmte binnen meeviel. Eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam wanneer er iets onduidelijk was. Kleine zaken zoals zout, peper, suiker, koffie ed aanwezig want die worden wel eens vergeten.

TOP einfach nur TOP
Wir waren 7 Tage in diesen wundervollen Ferienhaus. Die Sauberkeit, die Lage und nicht zuletzt die/der Vermieter (Familie Rhein) ist / sind einfach super. Meine Kinder haben sich ab der ersten Minute in dem Haus wohlgefühlt und wir waren traurig, das wir so schnell wieder nach Hause mussten. Durch die Nähe zu Köln (Dom, Schokoladenmuseum, Innenstadt, usw.) und zu Bonn (Haus der deutschen Geschichte, Museumsmeile und die wirklich schöne Innenstadt) waren für uns perfekt. Des Weiteren waren in der näheren Umgebung auch tolle Aktivitäten für Kinder möglich. In dem Haus liegt ein liebevoll gemachter Ordner mit den verschiedenen Möglichkeiten. Unser Fazit: EINFACH NUR TOP und wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. P.S. gefehlt haben uns eigentlich nur Fliegengitter an den Fenstern.
