Cabin Retreat in the Woods - Hot Tub, Grill, Firepit, Ski at White Pass, Hiking

Welcome to Baby Bear Cabin. Newly constructed, cozy cabin with 50-jet hot tub under the stars. Cabin is situated down a quiet, well maintained dirt road in the forest near Mt. Rainier National Park and White Pass Ski Resort. One-half mile to Packwood's downtown restaurants and shops. Perfect for a small family or romantic getaway.

The cabin has been constructed with wood accents throughout to give it a rustic appeal. There are three separate sleeping areas and a bathroom on all three floors. There is a washer & dryer on the lower level.

When you are outside, you can hear Hall Creek flowing back in the woods which really does give you a sense of "being away from it all". Enjoy grilling on the propane bbq & eating dinner in the fresh air at the outdoor dining table - both on the back deck.

On clear days we have a beautiful view of Mount Rainier out the living room window and in the evening we have a wonderful 50-jet hot tub waiting for you to relax away in while you gaze at the stars. Enjoy sitting around the campfire roasting s'mores.

Wonderful property in quiet wooded setting
This facility was in a quiet, wooded, peaceful setting just outside of "downtown" Packwood. The Baby Bear cabin seemed to be in spotless condition. The interior decor features lots of wood, which we loved. The advance and onsite communication and instructions from the owners was clear and helpful. We loved our stay! I suppose the only negative was that the king bed on the upper level was pretty squishy/hammocky and not very comfortable for two senior citizens. That being said, I highly recommend this facility!

Amazing - model VRBO
First the care preparing this cabin for vacationers should be a model for anyone who rents their space. Everything we could need clearly laid out, clear instrucs, absolutely immaculate, any concern points you may have described in listing. Communication when I failed to understand entry info was instantaneous. The hot tub was wonderful after a day enjoying area - went to Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens (latter a little longer jaunt). The only complaint I had was the owners only scheduled the elk to roam the front yard one morning, we'd like to have seen them every morning!!!! One of our very favorite rentals ever.

Perfect spot for exploring Mt Rainier NP
Like Mt. Rainier, pictures don’t do this cabin justice. This place is even better in person. My parents (in their 70s) and I really enjoyed our 2 nights there. Loved all the modern top-quality upgrades. We also enjoyed being in Packwood! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful home/cabin in the area.

location, location, comfort, so much included!
Great option when one needs several different sleeping areas although only king has separate bedroom door. Other sleeping area are more open (yet private), including the queens being in different areas downstairs. Kitchen is small, but decks are lovely, game cabinet is amazing, TV and gaming set (we did not use) are options. Hot tub and outside campfire area are huge pluses. Easy to fine from Packwood and so close! Steps up (or down) to front door and to all sleeping areas. Kitchen also had plenty of basic cooking/baking pantry items.

Nice Place
Very comfortable home for two couples. It was a little odd that the bathroom on the main floor, with no bedrooms, had a tub/shower, but the one downstairs, where there are two bedrooms, didn't have a tub OR shower. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Long family weekend
My family and I enjoyed a 2 night stay in this well kept, and well located cabin. Perfect size for our family of 4, the queen beds downstairs were in their own alcove which provided some wanted privacy for our teens. Upper deck was a tranquil refuge and shaded from afternoon heat. We'd stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and beds comfortable. The setting was lovely - we enjoyed our meals on the deck amongst the trees. The location was ideal, near Mt. Rainier and the small town of Packwood. I would love to stay again. I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay when going to Mt. Rainer!
This cabin was fantastic! It was super clean and gave us all the space we needed. We used this cabin for a family trip to Mt. Rainer with our two teenage children. Having the master bedroom upstairs and the two separate sleeping spaces downstairs was perfect! The hot tub was amazing and we even saw elk from the back balcony. The cabin is tucked away down a quiet street but only minutes away from town where there is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants.

Fabulous Cabin
This cabin is situated just outside of Packwood and close to White Pass. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. We did not utilize all the amenities, but the setting with the hot tub and forest is a welcoming place to relax. The cabin is very clean and is extensively stocked with every little thing you might need during your stay. We can’t wait to visit again!

This was such a beautiful home. It's only 30 minutes away from White Pass, had everything we needed, felt like a home away from home, and gave everybody enough privacy. We had a fantastic time. The option to use a hottub after a long day on the mountain was a huge plus. The rules were layed out clearly and were easy to follow. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful and peaceful
We had a wonderful stay! The seemingly endless forest out back was fun for the kids to trounce around in, building a fire and having s'mores was a first for them as well. The hot tub was perfect! Inside the home was immaculate, all updated and fully furnished. The best part, everything in the kitchen was labeled!!! So it wasn't hard to find what we needed to cook with etc. All the kitchenware was in great condition which was a first for me. If you're looking for a quiet getaway this is the one! Will visit again!!

Baby Bear Bliss
We had a fantastic time at Baby Bear cabin. There was loads of room for our family of four, the cabin is lovely and the hot tub is great after a long day of walking. The main drag in Packwood is a 10 minute walk or so - Packwood Brewing Co is a fun and family friendly bar with live music outside and fine views. It was also lovely to wake up in the morning to a view of Mt Rainier from our bedroom window. Liz was very helpful, quick to respond to messages and left a lovely welcome pack. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return some day.

Wonderful home!!!
The home had everything we needed. The decor and extra amenities were awesome. We really enjoyed being able to relax on the deck, around a fire, and in the hot tub. Incredible to see Rainier out the living room window. The upstairs shower and bathroom in general are small. However, I'm 6'7" and still made it work. You do have to navigate some stairs to get to beds which was not an issue for us. We loved the place, just letting those out there know in case it would be an issue for them. The location from town is great and is an easy walk if wanted. Beware part of the town shuts down pretty early. Last call at the brewery on Thursday night was 8:30. Liquor store closed at 7 on a Friday night. Note: the Thai food truck in town puts out a Closed sign when they get busy. They take it down after they get caught up. To be expected grocery store prices were very expensive. We stayed at the place as a home-base for visiting Rainier National Park and went river rafting (River Drifters) on the White Salmon river. We spent a lot of time getting to places but it was worth it. Be warned NF-23 from Randle to Trout Lake is a rough drive. The raft trip was great, the drive there not so much. Regardless of what you do. This home will serve as a wonderful retreat for you. We would definitely stay at the place again!

Beautiful property
We stayed for two nights and got to see a herd of elk wander through the yard and were fortunate to have perfect clear views of Mt. Ranier. It was nice and cool inside and the kitchen was well stocked for all the cooking and grilling we did. Grocery store and gas a mile away was convenient for our trek through the national park. Hosts were responsive almost immediately to our request to checkin a little early. The beds were comfortable and the phone chargers placed everywhere in the house were great. We'll definitely stay here again if we get back to the area.
