The staff were very friendly and, above all, the room was clean, which I liked. However, there were some homeless people gathered next to the building. They would talk to us and follow us, which was a bit scary (since we were traveling as a group of women). Other than that, I really liked the hotel overall! Parking was easy, and there was a supermarket nearby.

Had an amazing stay here. The rooms are very nice and pretty new. We feel very safe also. The owner and receptionist are very hospitable. I highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Palermo. It is near the port if you come by ferry and walkable to the markets and tourist spots.

Very nice establishment and convenient to central city. The streets in the neighborhood of the BnB are very dirty which detracts from the atmosphere.

This is a building over 200 years old that was renovated and modernized while keeping parts of it's history. Very charming. The rooms are 1st class and the host very friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance of many of the cities top attractions, including the airport bus.

PERFECT !!!
BNB Dolcevita is a beautiful recently renovated building. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious. Eugenio the owner is a very nice guy and is there to help his guests anytime. Highly recommend if you are visiting Palermo.

100% Perfect
My husband and I and our 3 year old son had a fabulous time in Palermo and at Dolcevita! Beautiful room and hotel very close to lots of great restaurants and sites to see. The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. They provided a list of restaurant/etc suggestions and everything we tried was top notch and perfect. I would stay here again and again. And I hope to do so soon!

The staff was very accommodating, awaiting our arrival at 1:00 in the morning. The BnB was hard to find because the signage does not make it obvious that it is the Doclevita BnB. A guy walking his dog at 1:00 am told us where it was at or we may not have found it. Otherwise, a very nice room, wonderful staff, and a good breakfast.

It was a comfortable room and all facilities worked well. For Americans the TV has limited programming. The building is under construction so there was a feeling of incompleteness. There's no air conditioning in the public areas.

Beautiful hotel. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great, variety of options. Other people have mentioend the homeless people in the park opposite - we found this, however they caused no issues at all and we felt safe at all times. Location was great - 2 minute walk to the harbour and the new fountain and 10 minutes from the centre of the historic town. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff is wonderful and accommodating, but unfortunately I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel. The hotel is under construction, which wasn’t stated anywhere when we booked. The hotel is located on an extremely busy road and we had to switch rooms we couldn’t sleep because the traffic is nonstop. We got moved to the opposite side of the hotel and you could still hear the traffic. It was much quieter, but half of the amenities in our room didn’t work. The TV and wifi didn’t work, which is inconvenient when your cell service isn’t great being in another country. Our shower wouldn’t drain and even flowed onto the floor. I think the hotel has a lot of potential when it is completely renovated.
