Felt bad for the employees…
At the time of check in, many newly acquired key cards were not working. A kind lady named Karen at the front desk worked diligently to resolve the issue, and was kind and helpful to me and other guests. All the staff I encountered was very kind, but the hotel itself could use some serious renovations. Rooms are very outdated, WiFi worked less than half the time, water backed up in the toilet, sink, and bathtub. Beds were adequate. Room seemed decently cleaned, but due to being so dingy and outdated, it doesn’t have that appearance. It’s a place to sleep on the beach. Between that and the kind employees, those are about the only positive qualities.

I was super excited thinking I got a great deal for my two nights there. I got catfished. The pictures are no where near what it looked like in person. I’m never one to complain, but I didn’t even want to sit on the bed. We checked in and checked out all within an hour having to scramble and find somewhere else to stay since we drove six hours to get there. Please read the reviews and don’t just think it looks good because of the pictures they post.

I just wanted to shoutout Ms. Karen at the front desk. She checked us in super quick. We got there hours early but she was prompt to call me once our room was cleaned and ready. We spoke every morning we were there. She even recommended a couple places for us to check out and go eat at. Thank you for your hospitality!

2023 room was an efficiency w/kitchen. Reserved same way, room given was standard, no kitchen, MGR said no way to change, room cost more than last year, had to pay more to eat out, and groceries I brought were useless.

The only nice thing was the beach. Beware hotel charged $173.00 extra as the said hotels.com undercharged. The room was not ready upon arriving at 4:22. They called at 4:53 to advise ready. The room reeked of Clorox. I had to argue request for refund in overcharge fee till 6:00 pm and missed afternoon on beach. I left as soon as I could on Wednesday. Not what I expected. Beware of this hotel & the 1 next door as I had to check out there.

Numerous things broken, not very clean. We stayed a full week, Sunday to Sunday, and not once did anyone attempt to service our room. I took the trash out daily and had to request towels constantly. Kitchen was supposed to be fully stocked but had nothing. Very disappointed. Mold in bathroom, old food in kitchen drawers, dirty microwave, needed to be vacuumed.
