Great Location!
I stayed here with my husband and 2 adult daughters. I read the reviews so knew exactly what to expect. The host was very friendly and offered tips prior to our arrival. The location is phenomenal and in the heart of everything. It was surprisingly quiet given that you are located in a busy area with access to restaurants, etc. The court yard had a lot of charm. The home had a lot of character. We had a great stay in Paris!!!! The only recommendation would be to make the shower door opaque to provide privacy. We would stay here again.

Quirky but nice
A great location, close to the metro, restaurants and major sites. Slept theee adults comfortably. Only negative was shower and sink in the same small space. Everything else was good and photos of place were accurate.

The location was great. We usually stay in Le Marais, and decided to stay somewhere different this time around. Steps from the metro, close to Jardin de Luxembourg, Ile de la Cite, and Ile St. Louis, which was important to us. But the apartment itself wasn't so comfortable to reside in - the bathroom sink is in the shower, so could only really be used minimally because, as you could imagine, the floor is always wet. The configuration of the apt was challenging with a toddler, and it wasn't as clean as we had hoped (mainly the shower, kitchen sink, and the fridge). We weren't in the actual apt much, but I think the apt itself could use a lot of important touches to match the cost. That being said, the host was very responsive, and led us to nannybag, a service that could hold our luggage as we weren't able to check in before 3PM.

Location! Location! Location!
We had a wonderful stay at Apt de Charme. It's a unique apartment within a secure and quiet courtyard. Everything was as described. Maikel was very responsive to any questions. I have a slight mobility issue but could maneuver through the narrow kitchen and bathroom facilities. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and nicely stocked with everything we needed. Once stepping outside the apartment building there were many restaurants, both eat-in and takeout, as well as wonderful patisseries.

Fantastic location and great service
We loved our visit and the arrangements and service were fantastic. The apartment is located close to Notre Dame, the Louvre and other major sites. It is surrounded by good restaurants. The apartment is small, but well appointed and clean. The communication from Maikel was great and helpful in every way. We loved it and would stay there again.

Cozy Apartment
The place looked just as pictured. It was close walking distance to many of the sites we wanted to visit. Great Italian restaurant just a few doors down. Host was quick to reply to all my messages throughout our stay.

This is a traditional old building and as such, has some quirky features with strange steps, low ceiling in the WC and a strange bath sink in the shower. All that said, it sufficiently worked for our needs. This place has character.

Fabulous Location
This apartment is in a really wonderful location. It is also very quiet in the back of a courtyard. Maikel was very helpful in recommending nearby restaurants and very accessible to communicate with. There is not a lot of privacy, so I would recommend this apartment for a couple or a single person.

Love the neighborhood!!
Location was amazing!! Exactly what we were looking for. Loved the neighborhood atmosphere and the short walking distance to La Louvre and Notre Dame. Would definitely stay here again. Some suggestions…it’s a ground floor apartment and gets a little musty/humid. We used the oscillating fan, which was helpful. Second, the front door of the apartment is immediately next to a door to the neighboring restaurant’s galley. The main door to the apartment has glass windows on top, which makes it easy to see into the apartment, especially at night. I would suggest the owner consider adding some sort of privacy screen to the windows so renters can feel more at ease regarding privacy.

Great location - nice apartment.
Layout may seem odd if coming from North America with bathroom sink separate from toilet and shower/sink combo BUT it’s a beautiful two bedroom apartment with plenty of room for three adults and the location is simply stunning and unbeatable. In the heart of the Latin Quarter and steps from a key metro stop, the Left Bank, Notre Dame, step outside the apartment into the beautiful courtyard and then onto the most lively street in the area. The entire greater Paris region is easily accessible via transit from here. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on the future.

We had a great time immersed in the Latin quarter. The internet /TV didn’t work the first 2 days, not sure what was going on there. Owner and manager were responsive, but first effort didn’t fix issue, so we left the tv on for then the second time so they would know whether it was addressed. Everything was running smoothly by day 3. Otherwise everything was great. It is small, but room enough for two adults and two teenaged girls.

My friends and I had a great stay at this property! As the reviews suggest, there is not a ton of privacy between bedrooms and the bathing area, but it worked out well for us. The location was fantastic and it was cool to experience a more traditional place over another hotel! Would return for sure.

A fun rather tight apartment in superb location. Limited front bedroom privacy but so what? Could not find outside ventilation access (except open front door) on a very hot day yet it wasn't that bad with bedroom fans and being in the back of a relatively cool courtyard. Would go again.

Very narrow hall kitchen and bathroom. Not wheelchair accessible as described. The shower offered no privacy and our towels to cover the door kept falling down. the bathroom door rubs on ceiling, difficult to close. The best part of the place was the location. We felt safe but disappointed in the bathroom/ shower room. If it’s hot there the place will be hot despite fans. No air flow as the window doesn’t open. He was responsive mostly.
