The Tamise is ideally situated within easy distance of lots of the major attractions of the city. The Tuilleries gardens are just across the road along with the Louvre, a bit further in the opposite direction(right from the hotel)is the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. The breakfast is simple but tasty, there are plenty of places nearby if you want to venture out from the hotel. Our room was small but(average size across Europe) but big enough for a couple of nights. All the staff we came in contact with were very helpful. All in all a lovely hotel in an excellent location would happily return.

What a great vacation spot! The location spoke for itself. The hotel was so close to many great areas that we were able to walk to. The staff were very professional and willing to help. The room was very clean. Shower was very nice! The mattress was very nice! We actually overslept one morning.

We had a wonderful time in Paris by staying here. Most places stay within walkable distance from the hotel and there’s lots of restaurants and bakeries around the block. A wonderful cozy hotel in a perfect location in Paris. We walked for miles around the city and could get to metro easily even though a few stops closed for the Olympics. Kevin checked us in and helped us during our stay. Felt very safe and went to great restaurants nearby.

Perfect location & service but tiny rooms
Was here from San Jose CA one month before the Olympics. The hotel is in a fantastic location equidistant from Marais, Latin Quarter and Eiffel Tower but across the street from the Louvre and Tuilleries Gardens. The only downside was the size of the rooms - they were tiny. We had a double bed and our kids had an adjoining room with 2 twins. The twins were less than 12" apart without any room to put a suitcase on the floor. So small!
