The property is beautifully decorated and has a vintage feel. Great location with a short walk to the Champs Elysees and subway station. Extremely disappointed that the property does not offer any services for special occasions. I had notified well in advance that our stay in Paris was for an engagement proposal and enquired about whether any special services would be available (e.g. room decoration); but I was told this was unavailable and we’d be offered a glass of champagne each. This was never received. It’s also rather insulting to be offered a glass of champagne as a gold VIP hotel customer, when one of the ‘perks’ was supposed to be a whole bottle. Again - never received. Coupling this with no room upgrade being provided, and the room we were give stinking of cigarette smoke; it wasn’t the most romantic or pleasant stay. The hotel did utilise an air purifier whilst the cleaning team worked in the room, which helped but did not solve the issue. Overall - a lovely decorated hotel in a great location, but no VIP or decent service.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel location was perfect to many popular sights. The staff was friendly. Very quiet in morning. The breakfast was amazing… we loved it but best part was Tan the waiter amazing top notch service we ever had and so courteous, professional and friendly we had the best conversation with him like he was a good friend thank you Tan your amazing!!!!!

Disappointing Stay: Poor Service and Outdated
We had a highly disappointing stay at this hotel. The quality of service was far below expectations, with staff that were unfriendly and unaccommodating. The room was in an outdated condition, making it feel far from welcoming. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. To make matters worse, the towels were in poor condition—thin and worn out, definitely not what one would expect from a hotel. Overall, this experience fell significantly short, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff was so friendly, our room was clean with the perfect French ambience and it was such a short walk to take the metro to quickly get to all the main attractions in Paris. If we come back to Paris, we will be staying here again! Loved it!

We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Francois 1er. Our checking in/checking out went very smoothly. Our room was very spacious for Paris standards. Very clean!!! Staff very pleasant!!! Great location- close to everything. We did not have the breakfast buffet but it looked very appetizing. Definitely recommend this boutique style hotel. You will be very happy with your stay!
