This fantastic home is one of only a few beach front homes available in Esterillos Oeste. The spacious living area offers couples, groups, or families plenty of room to entertain. The full patio and deck looks out to the Esterillos Oeste beach directly in front of this spectacular home. The three bedrooms are all on the second floor with balconies off of each room overlooking the beach.

The spacious deck offers a private pool for cooling off after an afternoon of surfing, shelling, or just walking on the spectacular beach. The beach in Esterillos Oeste offers world class surfing, boogie boarding, and swimming. You can literally walk for miles in both directions on the beach. The west end of the village offers a unique lava reef visible at low tide and host the famous mermaid statue.

Costa Rica beach front house
Took 3.50 hours from San Jose airport to arrive at home due to traffic. Best part is house being right on the beach. However, the area is not very nice and there is a public campground sight right beside house which is very loud and noisy all night long. House is on public beach access where cars pull up in front of home facing the ocean. House was not clean at all - floors were dirty and our feet would be dirty again after taking showers. Ceilings fans, Walls, light switch plates, door knobs were dirty and thankfully I had plenty of Clorox wipes to wipe door knobs and switch plates. Ants crawling all over the pool deck, flys and mosquitoes in the house all the time due to no weather stripping around the doors. Shower heads all need to replaced as they only spray on jet stream. Very dark at night in the house, limited outlets for use and WiFi internet was only accessible in downstairs area. One TV located in den. All bedrooms need accessible Wi-Fi connection. One hairdryer for house. House needs a good cleaning and some maintenance. House keys were left for us due to arrival time. No one from management company bothered to follow up w me on Sunday or anytime we were there. All communication for any needs for house was done by me. Had to ask for toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, water and if there was housekeeping service at all. Disappointed in condition of home as it can be very nice w a little bit of maintenance.

The house was fantastic! Lots of space and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a plus! The beach location can't be beat. Nice walk to town to get groceries, rent surf boards and eat at great restaurants! Hope to be back for sure!

The perfect spot.
I’ve stayed at the Casa Amarilla 3 different times now. One with couples. Another with my wife and kids for two full weeks and then this past week bringing my brothers and dad down for a surf trip. It’s always been perfect for us for every kind of adventure. We will be back soon! Be sure to visit my good friend Jorge at Aloha surf just around the corner! For dinner go to Don Toro and hopefully you score a good swell.

Wonderful Time!
We loved our time at this beautiful beachfront home. The pool was perfect after walking and playing on the beach. We loved having Jorge, the lifeguard and surf instructor, there right in front of our house. Communication with Keylor was super helpful. We felt very happy, taken care of, and comfortable . We absolutely loved the location of this home on the beach. Keylor was especially helpful with all of our needs and excursions. Not far from waterfalls, monkey mangrove tour, and catamaran tour. We are wanting to go back during Xmas break. Definitely 5 stars for us!

House is perfectly located on a clean family friendly beach with fun waves out back. The house is clean and roomy with a clean and functional back yard including a pool. The pool is nice to cool down in after coming back from beach and or a surf. We were able to grill out on the new terrace on the side of the home which was perfect for a evening at the house. The three large bedrooms with each one having its own bathroom upstiars is optimal for families and or friends to stay in comfort and privacy. Overall the home is perfect for your costa rica vacation being clean, comfrotable, centrally located with nice restaraunts near by and a an amazing beach. I recommended it 10/10.

Perfect Getaway
This property was perfect. The size, location, and outdoor space was great. In addition, we were provided ice and bottled water. The kitchen was fully stocked, the water pressure was excellent, and the A/C worked great. We were able to see a variety of birds, frogs, and lizards. The local restaurants were delicious and shopping was within walking distance. The only things we would change are based on personal preference. The beds were quite firm, the TV was small and was hard to hear over the A/C, and there were no beach accessories. None of this would prevent us from staying again. We absolutely loved this place!

Beautiful beach front home. Short walk to restaurants and the local grocery store. Perfect place to explore the area between Jaco and Manuel Antonio. One of the best beaches we saw in the area. Would definitely come again!

We can’t say enough about this property. This was our 2nd time staying here— last was 2yrs ago. I must say that Mirla, the property manager, has done a fantastic job with the property. Not too much has changed but the house seemed more organized. We were actually able to use the balcony this time— it was clean & less cluttered. We had an issue with one of the upstairs AC units and Mirla had someone to the house promptly to access & fix the problem. We were so thankful! Overall, you can’t find a better property in regards to location and centralization of everything you need in Esterillos Oeste. We have decided to make this a yearly destination spot to get away from the winter gloom of the Pacific Northwest. We love Esterillos Oeste, this home and the Pura Vida lifestyle!

Perfect family beach house
This is the perfect beach house - my teen daughters and my folks (in their 70’s) all agree. Steps from the beach, comfortable beds, a well appointed kitchen, and ample space for relaxation inside and out - including a pool. The location is wonderful- just south of the party hub of Jaco and north of the crowded Manuel Antonio - yet plenty to do. Excellent local restaurants, surf lessons literally 30 yards away and a well stocked grocery store a block away. I could stay here for months and be completely content.

Very clean property. As advertised. We loved the ability to walk on to the beach. Clean beach that stretches for miles! Got crowded (I didn't expect that as I thought we were away from Jaco and Manuel Antonio - clearly the locals know this beach and so was crowded with them but not detrimentally). Having stayed in a few locations during our visit, we have decided that CR is badly in need of good plumbers! Every bathroom at all the rentals had problems. Here with 4 bathrooms, we could have our pick. They had a nice collection of books we used on a rainy day. Also, they have games, beach equipment etc to make it easy for overseas visitors. The pool was clean but really a large jacuzzi size rather that a pool that you could swim in. For small children, it may be good. The washer and dryer were very helpful. AC worked. There is a Soda next door who blares music during business hours which was a bit annoying at times. We could walk to the supermarket and the restaurants. Excellent location except for the soda playing loud music. They did not play music if there were few people on the beach. Internet was very patchy and slow which was surprising as even in a remote cabin in Monteverde we had excellent service. Overall, we would stay again!

Just book it!!
Family and friends booked this house for 2 weeks (actually our 2nd time here) and it is PERFECT!! If you are contemplating booking this house, just do it, you won't be disappointed. Perfect location, beautiful area, Mirla the host is truly a "super host". Her response to inquiries was quick and helpful, not a single bad thing to say and we are looking forward to staying here again, we won't even look for another house it is "Casa Tres Pochotes" for life. Great Overall Experience
We spent 1 week at this home. We were looking for a place to stay which was away from the high traffic tourist areas and provided fun at the beach for teenagers. The home is beautiful and spacious and the location could not be better - steps from the beach and the balconies look over the shore. We spent most of our time at the beach boogie boarding which was a blast (rented from Aloha Surf down the street). Tried a bit of surfing but most of the time the water was too rough for beginners like us. Every room had AC which was important given some humid days, and the pool was a big plus which the kids really enjoyed. The local market (walking distance) is surprisingly well stocked but we did most of our shopping in nearby Jaco. We were definitely away from the crowds as often we would walk out to the beach to find we were the only ones there for as far as we could see. The small town has a very laid back atmosphere and getting to experience the local culture was a great part of our trip. The owner was very friendly and responsive to questions I had during booking. And, the property management group was very professional and responding quickly when I had a question or needed help. I did find that if we had too many appliances running the circuit breaker would trip, so I do recommend bringing a flashlight (which is good to have in CR in general). Overall, this was an ideal getaway for our family and I would highly recommend to others!

What a wonderful property. Located on the best stretch of beach. Enjoyed the quiet area. A severe storm disrupted electricity and water for a short time but all inconveniences were taken care of quickly by the staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Oasis in a Wonderful Town
If I could relive the few days we stayed here I’d do it again and again. The house was idyllic. The town was everything we needed- a small grocery store and a few walkable restaurants. The beach was a fun place for our kids to learn to surf and boogie board. We made breakfast and lunch in the house each day and had dinner at the local restaurants. Everything about our vacation was perfect, and we highly recommend this beautiful house.

Our group of four, two couples, had an amazing time at Casa 3 Pochetes. The house was just as described, right on the beach, with plenty of room! The a/c units worked great. The pool was nice and refreshing after being in the salty ocean. We absolutely loved the quiet little town of Esterillos Oeste! The locals were so welcoming and friendly. The house is walking distance from a couple local beach bars and restaurants. The property management team was very helpful in planning our adventures. We had an amazing time. Beautiful house on the beach, steps away from the surfers’ favorite spot at high tide. Everything was wonderful from the management company to the house itself. We had problems with one room not having operating a/c and the water going out once. Response was immediate and issues were completely resolved. They constantly checked in to make sure we were having a pleasant stay. Make sure to use What’s App. The pool was lovely. House was safe. Beggars did walk up asking for money a couple of times but it wasn’t annoyingly constant. Green parrots fly into the trees at sunrise and sunset. Views from the balcony are great as are walks on the beach. The restaurant next door is great! Hope to stay longer next time. This place is a hidden gem.

Perfect winter warm-up
Absolutely everything about the property was as in the listing. The home is spacious, comfortable,band perfectly located on a quiet beach. The owner/manager was prompt and responsive to our questions and was so helpful in coordinating a three-way transit from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, to Esterillo Oeste, and back to San Jose. The homes is so comfortable and very private. It is only 20 meters from the beach and the beach stretches for miles and has long areas of no development for private sunning. The balconies and patio are also private with multiple seats, swings, and areas to stretch out in sun or shade. Everything works well in the home. It is fully stocked with appliances and kitchen ware. There is plentiful linen and beach towels. Wifi is fast. We had no issues with our stay but one day a lock became stuck and a call to Miacol had it fixed in an hour. The only thing missing are beach lounge chairs that can be rented near the property. Location is everything and there are two great restaurants and a SuperSol grocery within 2 blocks. Don't miss the unmarked Rancho Coral lodge restaurant only 2 properties to the west on the beach. Fantastic food and reasonable prices. Friendliest staff of ANY place we have ever visited. Also, the Los Almendros is only a block away and has a funky latin, seafood, Asian, American menu and everything is great. The visit was perfect but, alas, 8 days was too short.
