The Cressy Boarding House is a charming, well-appointed home on Main Street in Pawhuska, OK. Just a few blocks from the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile, it is perfect for groups of friends or families. Bright, elegant, and sparkling clean, it will quickly become your home away from home.

The Cressy has large living spaces, including a living room, dining room, kitchen and game room, all flowing one to another in an open floor plan.

The Cressy is about five blocks from the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile. On busy days in Pawhuska, The Cressy's space to park four cars will be handy and quite needed. Just a quick walk down Main Street will bring you to all of the great places and spaces of Pawhuska.

Comfortable accommodations have been made for six people, and ample closet space allows for clothing to be hung and stowed away.

The game room is a perfect space for gatherings of friends. The pool table, card table, and collection of board games promise hours of entertainment.

The large kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, and is quite suitable for preparing a home cooked meal.

While we do not serve breakfast (we figure you'll head on over to the Merc, anyway), we do supply coffee for your morning caffeine fix.

For more caffeine, fortunately, The Cressy is located next door to Handy's store, whose fountain pop is touted as the "Best Soda in Pawhuska." We would argue it's the best in the county.

Comfy stay
The house is quite large - great game/living room and another front living room (both have TVs). The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious. It was easy to get in (great instructions by the entryway and thermostat (and maybe a couple other places(?)). The bed we slept in (there are three), was very comfortable and had a nice plug-in tower for our electronics. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay!

The house was not properly cleaned at the time of check- in. There was clothes in the washer, laundry in living room, garbage was full in the kitchen, and leftover take out boxes of food in fridge. Otherwise, the location was great.

Just down the road from all things Pioneer Woman!
This house is so roomy and comfortable. There was only 4 of us, but we enjoyed the space. Literally blocks from the Merc, I wouldn't say walking distance in this OK heat. It's good to note that while there are 2 bathrooms, there is only 1 shower, the master has a bathtub only. Also, the house right on a busy street so the traffic noise was loud, but the fans helped. Also, the light from the gas station shined in the bedroom windows (yes, the curtains were closed), it was so bright I thought the porch light was on. None of those things would prevent me from staying here again. It was much more affordable than the hotels and boarding house. Oh, and we really enjoyed the pool table even though none of us can play, we had alot of laughs.

The home was exactly as described. Decorated in memory of the grandfather and had the history told in pictures, which was very interesting. We enjoyed the accommodations very much, and the pool table in the evenings since Pawhuska tends to slow down early. The coffee bar and porch were also lovely.

My two daughters, my cousin and myself met in Pawhuska for a girls weekend The property was a short drive to the Mercantile. The home was spacious. We enjoyed having room to spread out and stay up late to talk if others wanted to go to sleep I Recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay!

Truly we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your sweet house. The only thing I would suggest it that the house is dusted more often. Also, I brought a casserole for our breakfast and I was not happy with the condition of the oven...this needs attention before your next visitors. Thank you for the stay...we were very comfortable.

Nice accomodations..some work needed.
House was a step back in time and decorated nicely. Queen bed in one room needs a new mattress. Side was bulging and I felt like I'd roll off. Political sign in yard probably shouldn't be there as you rent to the public. Door key box code was wrong on VRBO site. Had to call to get into house. Check out list seemed excessive as we paid a cleaning fee. Traffic was very noisy on main road. Pool table was in sad shape. Bedrooms could use tvs. Room darkening shades or curtains would be nice.

Second year of coming to Pawhuska for Spring Break. We love Pioneer Woman and this sweet little town. This place was perfect! Sooo much room. Even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen is amazing. This will be our place when we come back. And we will be back!!

Fantastic Cozy Home to Stay In
This is the sweetest, dearest place to stay when visiting Pawhuska, OK. The house is so conveniently located, we parked in the driveway (plenty of space!) and walked into town. The house had every single thing you could possibly need- from hand soap and toiletries to linens and coffee! Our kids loved playing at the pool table and with the other games provided. We even enjoyed sitting on the 2 porches and reading a good book. The house is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out, yet is still so comfortable and cozy, it really brings everyone together! 100% would recommend The Cressy Boarding House!
