This condo is located inside Litchfield by the Sea gated community at Bridgewater. The entire community has undergone extensive renovations this past winter and looks amazing! This unit is managed by the owner and cleaned professionally after every guest. The owner is super cool and great to work with : ).
It has 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds & 1 bath. It is meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. The views of the ocean and expansive pool/lazy river are lovely during the day and night. Located on the first floor (above ground floor so 2nd level of building) it is steps away from the indoor pool and hot tub. The building has 3 elevators for guest use and several luggage carts for guest convenience.
Amenities inside this condo include tile floors throughout, updated linens, a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, and comfortable living area with balcony access. The balcony has seating for 4, perfect for morning coffee or relaxing after a day at the beach.
The community amenities include pools (indoor & outdoor), lazy river, hot tub, quick beach access, 24 hour gated community security, tennis courts, fishing piers, walking and bike paths, and a beach clubhouse.
Located in Pawley's Island, you can quickly travel down to Georgetown or Charleston for the day or up to Murrells Inlet, Surfside or Myrtle Beach. So much to do in this area including fantastic restaurants, fishing, entertainment and shopping.

Great property but used way too much fragrance
Overall the property was as described and when there wasn’t much toilet paper the property owner was quick to get some delivered. Only complaint was the intense smell of artificial fragrance. It was like walking into a dollar store. As a pregnant person it was unbearable. We never could locate the source of the smell but it was incredibly strong. Our belongings came back stinking of the smell. You could smell the fragrance approaching the unit from outside when the a/c was on.

Perfect family friendly beach stay
Our stay at Bruce’s place in Bridgewater was excellent. The Litchfield by the sea community is beautiful, safe, and family friendly. The condo was as described and communication with Bruce was a breeze. The condo is located very close to the elevator and stairs making it easy to get to and from the beach, pool, and parking lot. Community laundry one level up was convenient and easy to use. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and bathrooms had ample towels. There are 2 TVs with cable but no smart tv/apps that we could find. We brought a Roku with us that came in handy. The pool area was very clean with plenty of tables and chairs in great shape. The beach access is very close and has a ramp for easy wagon access. Ice maker in the freezer worked great.

we were really impressed with this rental. clean room, tastefully decorated and well stocked with the essentials needed throughout. the owner even has a logbook out for guest to note any repairs that need attention. to me that spoke volumes of their desire to keep the rental in top condition. would highly recommend to others.

Had a wonderful time just steps from the pool and beach!!
We loved the beauty of this complex, grounds and view of the pool and beach from our balcony. The furnishings were just as written and promised. We knew what to bring in our own. The security at the pool were super nice and did a great job keeping things in order around the pool. The pool and lazy River pool water was super clear and well cared for. We enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks on the beach. The beds were super comfy. The owner was very responsive to a question we had. The unit is so quiet with the installation of the new hurricane rated sliding doors. Very impressive all around. We would love to stay again in the future. We highly recommend The Rustic Table restaurant and ParadICE ice cream. Don’t forget Parlor donuts, amazing cronut donuts!
